Here is my first major card manipulation/magic video.

I had a lot of fun making it and it showed me how much I have learned in 3 months (I started in November). I had so many thing I wanted to include in this vid, but 90 seconds only allowed for my few best tricks.

I used three different types of cards. I used a classic blue backed Bicycle deck, a red backed Bee deck, and a black backed Tactical Field Bicylce deck.

Here is the documentation to the best of my knowledge:
    1) Opening trick is the card spin, which I have also heard it called the Pirouette Flourish. This can be learned in the video "Stealing Pips" by Oz Pearlman.

    2) Second is the Snap Change. This is tought in many different places. I personally learned it from the "Zip, Snap, Inversion Somersault" clip by Brian Tudor. That can be purchased at the Penguin Magic site.

    3) S-Fan, which is taught in the "Showoff with Cards" DVD from Magic Makers Inc.

    4) Bertram Change. I learned this trick from a friend, but I have heard that Oz Pearlman teaches it in one of his videos.

    5) The Tenkai Vanish, or the throw vanish. This can be learned in the "Stealing Pips" DVD by Oz Pearlman.

    5) The Bridge cut, which is taught in the "Showoff with Cards" DVD from Magic Makers Inc.

    6) False Cut Routine - Swing Swivel Cut, Butterfly Cut, Jammin' Cut (all are taught in the "Showoff with Cards" DVD), and finishing with the Air Flip Over color change, which is taught in many differnent books and DVDs...including Crash Course 2 from Ellusionist.

    7) I'm not sure of the exact name of this trick, but some acquaintances have told me it is called something like "The Ultimate Card Switch." Im pretty sure its taught in the Vegas Card Cheat routine in the Ninja Videos from Ellusionist.

    8. And finally, the final trick was "The Hex," which is taught in the "Showoff with Cards" DVD

As I said, I started from scratch 3 months ago. Feel free to leave constructive criticism. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the video Very Happy

I would have perfected those moves a little more but the contest date was too close to when I learned how to do them. I got the video just after Christmas and didnt have time to start learning them till about a month ago. I never have time during the week to record or practice, so it was just weekends. Hopefully I will improve them for my next vid Very Happy

    thanks for the comments

    Marp,

That is a great video. If the rest of the card and chip videos are like these first 2 then we're in for a lot of fun.

    Twirlmasterflex,

Good job getting to 100 posts, that is a nice milestone.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I spent a lot of time on the video in hopes to create the best product possible. Hopefully I compare well to the other vids expected to come in during the next week.

Im pumped up to see crazy XCM! Very Happy

Yep thats the video I learned most of the moves from. If I would have had more time, I would have perfected more moves from the video and included them in the contest. I just got the vid in January with some Christmas money so I havent had much time to learn anything super amazing yet. Still working on the one hand revolution cut Very Happy

    excellent job.

the hex looks a little rough, but i can see that it is an extremely hard flourish as well.

    Great Job,

thanks for the feedback. Yeah when I made this contest entry, I had my calendar messed up. I thought I had one less week than I did, and the due date weekend was booked. But I know realize I was wrong. My hex cut is a lot better now and I regret having entered it when I was in such early learning stages.
