Been playing poker for 15 yrs and it took me that long to finally pull the trigger on my dream 1000 chip NCV Paulson Pharaoh's. You know what...they really live up to all the hype. They are, without question, the best chips in the world! I've gone from nexgens, nevada jacks composites to ASM A molds and now to the Paulson's. The Paulson's are simply perfect. Great feel..but you need to oil them or they will feel chalky. But once you put in the time, they look and feel super. They cost an arm and a leg...but they are supposed to last a lifetime so hopefully it makes sense in the long run.

These are arguably the best clay chips. There are 2 other manufacturers I would consider, but Paulson does clay to near perfection. Of course, you get what you pay for, and these are not cheap chips at all. Of the inlays that are mass marketed, the Egyptian theme lends itself well to the poker arena and makes the edgespots and colors shine. Clays do tend to show signs of wear, but the Paulsons hold up fantastically well.

Go into 3 out of 4 casinos in Vegas or Atlantic City or Reno and you will find that they are using Paulson Chips. That should already show you how great they are. Great sound, quality, and looks. Very expensive, but well worth it. If you want chips almost exactly like the casinos use, go Paulson. I personally like the inlay on this chip better than the inlay on the Paulson Top Hat and Can chip reviewed here: http://www.21ace.com/Paulson-Poker-Chips .php The inlay on the Pharoahs is classier and cleaner looking. Great chips. It's not a coincidence most casinos use these chips.

Just got my samples of these chips. The best I have ever seen, felt, heard, etc. These chips are so far the absolute CLOSEST I have seen to actual Las Vegas mainstream casino chips. I have decent collection from my recent trips from almost two dozen casinos and with the Pharaoh chips thrown on the table with chips from the Monte Carlo, Paris, Mirage, MGM, Palms, etc, they look like they came straight from Vegas. Hands down. Alot of people like the James Bonds but in my opinion, the different graphic on each denomination of these chips further lends an air of authenticity. And they fall right in line with all high quality, true home casino chips, which is expensive, but I'm on my third set of chips, and have upgraded each time. Spend the money on the good stuff once. You wont regret it.

Well, need i say anything about these beauties, yes i do, these are the best looking Paulson chip yet and the quality is the very best, they sound good and they stack like chips should. That they smudge some when suffeling them for hours on end cant be helped. Playing poker with them wont wear an tear as much as chip tricks do. I will buy a set of these, dont know when, and how im gonna afford it, but i will get it soner or later.

I wasn’t going to post a review because my experience with chips is somewhat limited in comparison with that of an expert or moderator here. However, I can’t appreciate, nor take seriously a review that says: these are ugly, Paulson is stupid. Without a doubt Paulson is, if not the best, one of the best chip companies in the world. The quality cannot be beat; just look at the plethora of casinos around the world that use their chips. I think the look is fantastic, it was a hard choice between the James Bonds and the Pharaohs but I made my choice. They sound great, feel great, and look great; they can’t be beat. If you want to spend the money for quality chips: buy Paulson, my choice and suggestion to you is the Pharaohs.

These chips arent that bad, however, if you are a fan of casino style chips, the new mold will really make you dislike these chips. The feel and quality is top notch, but if you are looking for something that looks, sounds, and feels like a casino chip, then you want a Paulson James Bond instead.

I just received my 200 pc. set of Paulson Pharaoh's non-denomination chips and they are beautiful! They feel great and sound nice. The symbols and artwork on the inlay are real cool and make the Luxor chipco chips look bad. The colors are nice and even though they are the same chips as the new JB's and Classic Hat & Cane chips, the Pharaoh's design is the best of them all. These chips stack up perfectly and look nice in my cherry finish chip carousel. I can't wait to play with these next poker night. I previously bought some BBL metal inlay poker chips and even though I like those alot, they do not compare to Paulson's chips. So, if you want to spend a little more for better chips, get Paulson's chips for about $1.20 a chip.

Just rec'd my Pharoah Paulsons...Best chips i ever used..these are just like the casinos! I've never used the nexgens so i cant compare..ppl seem to love them as well but to me I've never felt any ceramic or composite feel as good as these paulsons!

These are hands down the BEST chips out there on the home market! Combine the fantastic Paulson feel (and a new improved mold to boot) along with the Pharaohs insert and it adds up to an unbeatable poker chip! Buy a set and you'll never want to play with any others!!!

When you've decided that you're ready to spend the money it takes to get a top quality set you really want to consider the Pharaoh's. Top quality chip: check. Top quality graphics: check. Consistent theme: check. Any negatives? None that I can think of. If you're looking to impress your buddies when playing these are definitely the chips you want on the table.

The Pharaoh's Club Paulsons are the best poker chips currently in the home poker chip market. Simple as dat. Point blank. They are priced at roughly $1.19 per chip, and they're worth every penny. The new Paulson mold is far from perfect, but it's 500% better then the previous mold (the James Bond mold), which looked absolutely ridiculous. The extra clay doesn't help with stacking at all, as the chips are still surprisingly slick (compared to Paulson's mold with 8 Tophats & Canes). Appearance-wise, the inlay (designed by Greg Cagle) is just awesome. Whether you like the theme or not. It looks very much like the inlay a real casino would use. As for the chips themselves, Paulson has all the say in the base colors and edgespots, so it's hard to knock the chips for that... but some of the chips are still just fugly. The $1000 orange chip is just hideous in my opinion and the orange spots on the $100 chips get pretty dirty. A few inlays are off-center, but nothing like a Blue Chip.

What do you have when you take the awesome JB 05 set and improve the mold and labels? Pharoahs! There is no way that these can score lower than the JB's since they are their equal in terms of price and quality, but with a much better appearance.

The price of these chips is good. They are expensive but they last much longer than cheap chips because you no longer need to upgrade! The appearance of these Paulson Chips is good, anything with the hat and cane on it looks good to me. Quality on Paulson Chips is outstanding. There is a reason casinos use Paulson Chips and that reason is quality.

I am anxiously waiting for my samples of these chips. I have a feeling they will be a lot like my James Bond Paulson chips in terms of quality. However, the appearance is quite different.

Paulson Chips in Casinos
Casinos use Paulson Chips but they are not the chips that a regular person orders. In other words they do not use the James Bond Paulson Chips, nor do they use the Pharaohs Chips. That said, the hat and cane around the rim is unmistakable. All genuine Paulson Chips have that signature. Our Casino Paulson Chips Page has pictures of Paulson Chips from various casinos.

Other than the label, this Paulson Chip is almost identical to the $ 0.50 James Bond Paulson Chip.

$ 5 Pharaoh's Paulson Chip with a dark red perimiter and light blue and green on the edge of the chip. The label of this Paulson Chip has pyramids with a red sun above the Pharaoh's club & casino text, the city at the bottom of this Paulson Chip is Cairo. Other than the label, this Paulson Chip is almost identical to the $5 James Bond Paulson Chip.

$ 25 Pharaoh's Paulson Chip with a green perimiter and light green and orange on the edge of the chip. The label of this Paulson Chip has wings(different from 0.25 chip wings) above the Pharaoh's club & casino text, the city at the bottom of this Paulson Chip is Cairo. Other than the label, this Paulson Chip is almost identical to the $ 25 James Bond Paulson Chip.

$ 100 Pharaoh's Paulson Chip with a black perimiter and light blue and orange on the edge of the chip. The label of this Paulson Chip has a dog above the Pharaoh's club & casino text, the city at the bottom of this Paulson Chip is Cairo. Other than the label, this Paulson Chip is almost identical to the $100 James Bond Paulson Chip.

$500 Pharaoh's Paulson Chip with a purple perimiter and light green and pink on the edge of the chip. The label of this Paulson Chip has an eye above the Pharaoh's club & casino text, the city at the bottom of this Paulson Chip is Cairo. Other than the label, this Paulson Chip is almost identical to the $500 James Bond Paulson Chip.

$1000 Pharaoh's Paulson Chip with an orange perimiter and red and purple on the edge of the chip. The label of this Paulson Chip has a Queen above the Pharaoh's club & casino text, the city at the bottom of this Paulson Chip is Cairo. Other than the label, this Paulson Chip is almost identical to the $1000 James Bond Paulson Chip.

There is a subtle difference between these Pharaoh's Paulson Chips and the James Bond Paulson Chips. On the Pharaoh's chips there are only 2 types of surface, the perimiter of the chip and the label of the chip. On the James Bond chips there is a third type between the perimiter and the label where it is smooth. In other words, on the James Bond Chips the surface is smooth starting right at the bottom of the words "Paulson Chips" on the edge and right on the bottom of the 2 hat and canes on the edge. On the Pharaoh's Paulson Chips, one has to go further in until feeling a smooth surface. In other words on the Pharaoh's Paulson Chips the bottom of the "Paulson Chips" text and the hat and cane logo is only about 1/2 to 2/3rds of the way to where the surface starts being smooth. The Pharaohs Paulson Chips are newer than the James Bond Paulson Chips and they have an advantage in that each label is different. The only difference on the James Bond Paulson Chips is the denomination but the Pharaoh's Paulson Chips have different logos on top as well as different denominations.
