Just got my samples of these chips. The
best I have ever seen, felt, heard, etc.
These chips are so far the absolute
CLOSEST I have seen to actual Las Vegas
mainstream casino chips. I have decent
collection from my recent trips from
almost two dozen casinos and with the
Pharaoh chips thrown on the table with
chips from the Monte Carlo, Paris,
Mirage, MGM, Palms, etc, they look like
they
came straight from Vegas. Hands down.
Alot of people like the James Bonds but
in my opinion, the different graphic on
each denomination of these chips further
lends an air of authenticity. And they
fall right in line with all high
quality, true
home casino chips, which is expensive,
but I'm on my third set of chips, and
have upgraded each time. Spend the money
on the good stuff once. You wont
regret it.

I wasn’t going to post a review because
my experience with chips is somewhat
limited in comparison with that of an
expert or moderator here.
However, I can’t appreciate, nor take
seriously a review that says: these are
ugly, Paulson is stupid.
Without a doubt Paulson is, if not the
best, one of the best chip companies in
the world. The quality cannot be beat;
just look at the plethora of casinos
around the world that use their chips.
I think the look is fantastic, it was a
hard choice between the James Bonds and
the Pharaohs but I made my choice.
They sound great, feel great, and look
great; they can’t be beat.
If you want to spend the money for
quality chips: buy Paulson, my choice
and suggestion to you is the Pharaohs.

The Pharaoh's Club Paulsons are the
best poker chips currently in the home
poker chip market. Simple as dat. Point
blank. They are priced at roughly $1.19
per chip, and they're worth every
penny. The new Paulson mold is far from
perfect, but it's 500% better then the
previous mold (the James Bond mold),
which looked absolutely ridiculous. The
extra clay doesn't help with stacking
at all, as the chips are still
surprisingly slick (compared to
Paulson's mold with 8 Tophats &
Canes).
Appearance-wise, the inlay (designed by
Greg Cagle) is just awesome. Whether you
like the theme or not. It looks very
much like the inlay a real casino would
use. As for the chips themselves,
Paulson has all the say in the base
colors and edgespots, so it's hard to
knock the chips for that... but some of
the chips are still just fugly. The
$1000 orange chip is just hideous in my
opinion and the orange spots on the $100
chips get pretty dirty. A few inlays are
off-center, but nothing like a Blue
Chip.

All Paulson chips are top quality and these Pharaohs are no exception.
The James Bond Paulson Chips have been around for awhile and they will always be a classic.
That said, folks are eager to see what other designs are out there with Paulson Chips.

My Paulson Chips
I am anxiously waiting for my samples of these chips. I have a feeling they will be a lot like my James Bond Paulson chips in terms of quality. However, the appearance is quite different.
Paulson Chips in Casinos
Casinos use Paulson Chips but they are not the chips that a regular person orders.
In other words they do not use the James Bond Paulson Chips, nor do they use the Pharaohs Chips.
That said, the hat and cane around the rim is unmistakable. All genuine

$ 1 Pharaoh's Paulson Chip with a white perimiter and beige and red on the edge of the chip. The label of this Paulson Chip has the Sphynx above the Pharaoh's club & casino text, the city at the bottom of this Paulson Chip is Cairo. Other than the label, this Paulson Chip is almost identical to the $ 0.50 James Bond Paulson Chip.
$ 5 Pharaoh's Paulson Chip with a dark red perimiter and light blue and green on the edge of the chip. The label of this Paulson Chip has pyramids with a red sun above the Pharaoh's club & casino text, the city at the bottom of this Paulson Chip is Cairo. Other than the label, this Paulson Chip is almost identical to the $5 James Bond Paulson Chip.

$500 Pharaoh's Paulson Chip with a purple perimiter and light green and pink on the edge of the chip. The label of this Paulson Chip has an eye above the Pharaoh's club & casino text, the city at the bottom of this Paulson Chip is Cairo. Other than the label, this Paulson Chip is almost identical to the $500 James Bond Paulson Chip.
$1000 Pharaoh's Paulson Chip with an orange perimiter and red and purple on the edge of the chip. The label of this Paulson Chip has a Queen above the Pharaoh's club & casino text, the city at the bottom of this Paulson Chip is Cairo. Other than the label, this Paulson Chip is almost identical to the $1000 James Bond Paulson Chip.
There is a subtle difference between these Pharaoh's Paulson Chips and the James Bond Paulson Chips. On the Pharaoh's chips there are only 2 types of surface, the perimiter of the chip and the label of the chip. On the James Bond chips there is a third type between the perimiter and the label where it is smooth. In other words, on the James Bond Chips the surface is smooth starting right at the bottom of the words "Paulson Chips" on the edge and right on the bottom of the 2 hat and canes on the edge. On the Pharaoh's Paulson Chips, one has to go further in until feeling a smooth surface. In other words on the Pharaoh's Paulson Chips the bottom of the "Paulson Chips" text and the hat and cane logo is only about 1/2 to 2/3rds of the way to where the surface starts being smooth. The Pharaohs Paulson Chips are newer than the James Bond Paulson Chips and they have an advantage in that each label is different. The only difference on the James Bond Paulson Chips is the denomination but the Pharaoh's Paulson Chips have different logos on top as well as different denominations.
