Triangle Pool Trick Shot OverviewTreasury of Trick Shots in Pool and Billiards by Robert Byrne has quite a few shots involving the triangle. Keep in mind that there is a big difference between plastic triangles and wood triangles.Check out the pictures of Chumpchange doing the shot below(cick pics for video):
Triangle Pool Trick ShotTriangle Pool Trick Shot NotesTreasury of Trick Shots in Pool and Billiards by Robert Byrne has a triangle shot where 4 object balls sink, "Without the triangle on the table, state that you will make the four frozen balls in the corner. Before shooting place the triangle." [55]Triangle Pool Trick Shot our ForumClick Here to add your thoughts to the topic below:Posted by Eric on January 13, 2006 at 00:21
There are many triangle shots in the Byrne Trick Shots book. Several are in the Twenty-five Easy Ones chapter and the Almost as Easy chapter so it is a good idea to start experimenting with variations of triangle shots.
Posted by Chumpchange0001 on January 15, 2006 at 13:17 This shot is about a 60 percent shot once I have the set-up down (since I have to adjust playing on different tables). You have to hit the cue ball with as little spin as possible, bouncing it off one side of the triangle...the OPPOSITE ANGLE of that side is used to hit another ball in the corner pocket, while the adjacent side pushes a ball into the middle pocket. That probably sounds confusing, but its the best I can do. A plastic triangle is best for this. |
