Stefano Pelinga comes back to tie the match 1010.
Later we see Stefano Pelinga and Tom Rossman tied at 1111.
Tom Rossman saves a speed shot for the last one. Stefano Pelinga misses his first attempt and is shown missing his second attempt so Tom Rossman has clinched a tie.
Stefano Pelinga misses his last shot and Tom Rossman hugs him. Tom Rossman holds the $25,000 champion check over his head.

Mitch Laurance and Allen Hopkins do the commentary.
Mike Massey is the 2000 and 2001 champ.
Mike Massey tries a 1handed power jump for the first trick shot. The cue is in the corner, 3 balls are in the middle and 2 balls are near the far corner. Mike Massey makes the trick shot on his 2nd attempt.
Sebastian Giumelli does not make it on his first attempt. On his 2nd attempt Sebastian Giumelli doesn't make a clean jump.

Sebastian Giumelli has 3 balls on the 2nd mark from the corner lined up with the side marks. It is a timing shot, the balls must sink into the pocket in the reverse order from which they were hit. This means the first ball is his the slowest and the last ball is hit the fastest. Sebastian Giumelli makes the trick shot. Mike Massey misses the trick shot on his first try. Mike Massey also misses on his 2nd attempt of the trick shot.

Allen Hopkins gives us the tip of the day. It is a 7 ball Houdini shot. If the 1 ball is hit firm then the 7 ball goes in the corner pocket.
Sebastian Giumelli uses the triangle as a prop in the next shot. The triangle is on top of the 5 ball. Sebastian Giumelli makes the ball and flips the triangle up but the triangle then falls sideways so Sebastian Giumelli does not get a point. On his second attempt Sebastian Giumelli sees the triangle fall on the other side. Allen Hopkins notes that Sebastian Giumelli makes the ball both times. Mitch Laurance informs us that Sebastian Giumelli must make the shot in practice on a regular basis. Mike Massey jokes that balancing the triangle should be worth half a point. Mike Massey gets the rack to stay up but misses the ball. It is not a wooden rack, it is a plastic rack. On his 2nd attempt of the trick shot Mike Massey misses the ball and sees the triangle fall.

Mitch Laurance tells Allen Hopkins that this might be the best shot they've seen in 4 years of covering this competition. Sebastian Giumelli misses the shot on his first try. Charles Darling sets things up for the first challenge which is a multiple rail trick shot. After 7 or more rails the cue ball comes to a stop and hits the 6 ball which then forces the 8 ball in the pocket. Charles Darling makes the trick shot on his first try. Andy Segal won the lag but gave Charles Darling the first shot. Andy Segal is shown on his 2nd attempt. It isn't pretty but Andy Segal also makes the shot.

We now see why Andy Segal let Charles Darling go first after winning the lag. In the "yoyo" shot the cue must come back and make a uturn in order to sink the 1 ball in the side pocket. Andy Segal misses the trick shot on his 1st try. Andy Segal misses his 2nd attempt as well. Charles Darling comes close on his 1st try. Charles Darling isn't able to bring the cue ball back on his 2nd attempt of the trick shot.
We move to the tiebreaker with the $100 bill.
Charles Darling wins the lag and elects to have Andy Segal go first. Allen reminds Mitch that the cue ball has to be hit hard to go off at least 8 rails. If you scratch or don't hit 8 rails then you lose. Andy gets 8 rails and comes pretty close to the $100 bill. Charles Darling scratches.

Andy Segal says he has the shot in his book but he misses the trick shot.

Andy Segal gets plenty of draw on the cue ball on his 2nd attempt and the 8 ball goes in. Mike Massey has tons of spin on his 1st attempt of the trick shot but the 8 ball does not go in. The cue is setup near the 2nd diamond and impacts the rail between the first diamond and the corner on the first rail. Andy Segal misses the trick shot on his first try. The cue ball goes 3 rails and must beat the 8 ball in the corner in the next trick shot. Andy Segal takes some time explaining the shot. First Andy Segal hits the cue into the 8 and then he hits it again into the combo. All the balls go in and the crowd cheers for Andy Segal as he clenches his fist. Mike Massey misses both attempt on the trick shot.

Mike Massey explains the close draw shot where the cue ball is drawn into 2 cushions before making contact with the 9 ball. Lowrightenglish was used. Andy Segal calls out the same shot and still does not have enough draw.

We are not allowed to hit the rail on the opposite side of the triangle. Andy Segal misses on his first attempt of the trick shot. Andy Segal also misses on his second attempt of the trick shot. Mike Massey smiles as he sets things up. The critical setup note is that the 1 ball is near the diamond. The commentators note that a point is given to Mike Massey even though he clearly hit the side rail.

Mike Massey makes the trick shot and appears to be feeling it. Watching the shot in slow motion we see the cue ball jumping over the bridge before coming off rails and going under the bridge to pocket the 3. As misses on his first attempt of the trick shot. Andy Segal gets over the bridge nicely on his 2nd attempt as the 1 and 2 balls go in. However, Andy Segal does not have enough action on the cue ball for it to reach the 3.

Mike Massey elevates the cue so that it is almost completely vertical and he misses the trick shot on his first try. Mike Massey clarifies that the cue can be a ball away from the cushion as he adjusts for his 2nd try. Mike Massey is able to sink the 3 on his 2nd attempt of the trick shot.

Stafano Pelinga won the 2004 European Trick Shots Champion in Russia.
The 1 ball is pocketed in the side. The 3 stays on the bottle but the 9 ball drops. Mitch tells Allen that this is a hard shot to start off with. On his 2nd attempt Stafano Pelinga misses everything. Nick Nikolaidis missed both his attempts as well.

Nick Nikolaidis has the bridge going across the table. The object of the trick shot is to sink the 8 ball in the corner. The cue ball jumps the bridge and draws back sinking the 9 ball. This is a touchy execution trick shot. Nick Nikolaidis makes the 8 ball and has enough draw to come back and sink the 9 ball. The cue ball goes well past the marker ball, almost to the 3rd diamond. The cue stick goes hard, down into the table, Nick Nikolaidis even nudged the bridge. Stafano Pelinga also sinks the trick shot. Allen tells Mitch that Stafano Pelinga had more juice on the ball than Nick Nikolaidis did.

Mike Massey uses high, lefthand english as he hits the cue into the rail. Mike Massey jokes that the cue ball must have been waxed as his english does not take hold. Andy Segal explains that the cue will go into 2 cushions then masse and make the 9 ball combo. Andy Segal follows through and makes the trick shot even though it was a Mike Massey challenge shot.

Aramith Balls presents the trick shot of the day. Allen Hopkins hits the cue ball high into the rail such that it jumps back and he makes a 1 ball combo.
Andy Segal explains that he will toss the cue ball in the air then do a onehanded spear such that the 9 ball combo is made. Andy Segal is 5 feet away from the table. Andy Segal doesn't throw the cue ball very high but it is still an impressive trick shot as the combo is made. Keeping the cue ball on the table is part of the challenge. Mike Massey makes his 2nd attempt off the rail. Allen and Mitch note that the shot by Mike Massey was kind of shaky in that he didn't appear to throw the cue ball up in the air. Andy Segal threw the ball about 4 inches in the air but Mike Massey threw it less than an inch if at all.

Mike Massey brings out a trademark trick shot on his next challenge. Using one hand the cue goes straight down as the 3 ball goes in one corner then the cue ball comes back to the other corner for the combo. Mitch notes that Mike Massey does a little "jump" and "tarzan dance" after making the shot. Andy Segal goes nowhere near the 89 combo on his 2nd attempt.

Mike Massey has the cue near the side on his 5th challenge. He names this after John Daly calling this a grip it and rip it shot. Mike Massey explains that he will draw the cue ball the golf equivalent of 375 yards. Mike Massey explains that you can't hit the cushion to help with the draw. Allen puts it in perspective by noting that Mike Massey will draw the cue ball about 18 feet. Mike Massey makes the shot and completes the extreme draw. Andy Segal could not do the trick shot.

Andy Segal will do 5 cushions then 4 cushions then 3 cushions in this trick shot. In the end we'll have a ball on each cloth. All 3 balls are in motion at the same time and they each end up on their own cloths the way Andy Segal said they would. This is such a great trick shot that even Mike Massey claps. Mike Massey makes the trick shot and notes that he might steal it from Andy Segal in the future.

Mike Massey hits the butt of the cue and drinks some gatorade after taking the lead. There has to be enough draw on the cue to come past the first diamond. Andy Segal makes the trick shot perfectly.

The plan is for the cue ball to come back and make a 35 combo. Mike Massey misses the trick shot on both attempts. Nick Nikolaidis misses both his trick shot attempts as well.
