This Tutorial explains how to make the logo above in Illustrator 10.

Open Illustrator 10.

Click on File-New and hit OK.

Click on View-Show Grid.

Click on View-Snap To Grid.

Click on the Info Tab so you can see the X,Y coordintates when moving the cursor.

Click on the Rectangle Tool.

Move the cursor to X:360 Y:540 and hold down alt while pressing left mouse button.

Choose width 153pt, height 216pt.

Click on the Fill Box.

Click on the Color Tab.

Choose a light-green color.

Click on the Stroke Box.

Choose Black.

Click File-Save

Type logo_card_06.ai as the File name in the Save As Box.

Click on the Rectangle Tool.

Move the cursor to X:360 Y:540 and hold down alt while pressing left mouse button.

Choose width 75pt, height 75pt.

Click on the Fill Box.

Choose a black color.

Use the Black Selection Arrow to click on the small square.

Right Click Small Square - Transform - Rotate (choose 45 degrees).

Right Click Small Square(Diamond) - Transform - Scale (horizontal 80%).

Left Click Small Diamond and Drag to upper left corner.

Hold Down Alt Key while releasing mouse to copy Diamond.

Right Click New Diamond - Transfrom - Sacale (choose 33%).

Copy the upper left corner diamond to the lower right corner.

Use the text Tool to write 21-Shift-Ace-Shift-com in the center diamond.

Make the font white since the diamond background is black.

Hit Ctrl-Shift-C to center the text.

Right Click the text and choose Arial as the font and 18 as the size.

Use the text Tool to make an A in the upper left corner.

Choose an appropriate font and size.

Copy the upper left corner A to the lower right corner.

Right click on the lower right corner A and choose Transform - Rotate (choose 180 degrees).
