At a buck a chip a person could get some customs with their own design. Aligned edgespots and all.

@JBZ:I'd be in for some of those lucky ladys.
@200Motels: How many idividual designed custom chips would you have to take minimum. There has to be a minimum order on those chips.

If you want 25 custom, you're looking at $1 per chip. If you want a set of $500 you're looking at $400. Pretty sure that's for aligned edgespots. That's in Canada.
I know there are people in the US that do a set of customs with out aligned edgespots for $.65 per chip for a set of 500.

No, they aren't Chipcos. Not sure who manufacturers them, but there's many places to get affordable custom ceramics done.

These are the places. The place in Canada I was talking about gets them from ABC I'm pretty sure. A friend of mine got some from Mr Chips for bout 65 cents each with no aligned edgespots.
In my opinion, if I was going to spend that much on chips, I'd get the hotstamped Horse Head clays from Kardwell, since I have a set of ceramics and they're about the same price.

I think I posted pics of my horseheads in another thread. pokerchipsonline does them, but they will not hotstamp horseheads. The only do the amarican mold and the cards and dice mold (spotted)
www.pokerchips.com
http://www.pokerchips.com/molds.html tells you what can be hot stamped
