 6th Flourish Contests - Rules and Deadlines |

We are having two separate contests, one for chips/coins and one for cards.
Judges(subject to change): Shadow
Poker Chip/Coin Contest rules/conditions(subject to change):
DEADLINE August 31, 2005 Midnight Pacific Standard Time
1) One person - one video
2) The video can't be longer than 90 sec and the must be less than 5MBs(there is no size limit if you host the video yourself).
3) No glued chips
4) By submitting videos you are giving 21Ace.com permission to include them on the site(with credits of course). We will probably only put the best videos up on the site. By submitting documentation in the email, you are giving 21Ace.com permission to include it on the site.
5) All videos must be submitted through the forum.

-Rusty has confirmed that We Do It All Vegas will be donating 6 decks of Tally Ho playing cards and 3 2-deck setups of Stud King plastic playing cards to 21 Ace as prizes for their Trick Contest.
-SoopaNoobie is adding 1,000 custom labels to the prize pot (THIS PRIZE WILL NOT SHIP UNTIL SEP 20TH)
-David from Poker Chip Lounge is donating a sweet looking chip case for a prize.
-Andy from Slam Dunk Labels has offered up 1000 glossy labels to cover 500 poker chips set. The
winner can choose between 15/16" or 1
-Richard from VegasSupplies has lined up Copag Plastic Playing Cards.
-Josh from Apache Poker Chips has offered to donate a set of kem_cards.
-Mikko from Spinettis has said they can donate 100 of the heavy 16 gram Tangiers chips in a covered tray.
-Ellusionist has offered to donate a 3 pack of decks containing (1 Viper deck, 1 Tiger deck and 1 Ghost deck)
Note that sending documentation in the forum thread with the video is optional but highly encouraged. It is very useful to include the names of the tricks used in the video. Some videos like chip tricks can also include guidelines on how to perform the trick. Magic tricks are another story, don't reveal the secrets unless they are entirely your own and you don't mind sharing. Writing about how long the tricks took to learn and what practice techniques and sources were involved is optional.
Everyone is encouraged to send in a video, even if you're not sure how good the quality is. Remember that other people might find your video extremely helpful even if you're not crazy about it.

"magic" lol. Mean penguinmagic? I can see how you handle cards. just practice with cards and flourishes and after half year step into XCM! Ask anybody who is proper XCM:er, No. I am not, I am magician. But I know the things.

Good luck with your magic "career" You are becomming a good magician if you have right attitude!!!
about that penguinmagic comment, i see you have bought much from penguinmagic, am I right? and pretty much copied those effects. Just couple points to point out. First: Many many magicians don't like penguinmagic. They have good prices but their customer service is total 0. also there is many many other points because I (or other magicians) don't support penguinmagic anymore. I think you will find out it pretty quickly!
another suggest is not to copy effects and patter 100%! learn the techniques and then build own trick with those!
and good luck with xcm. It is very very very very hard and I think you can not be magician and xcm:er at same time. do the decision! offcourse flourishes are different thing!
and then practise much. (weeks,months) before you buy new effect or new book or dvd or whatever!
I hope you follow my suggestions. I followed them when I started about a year ago. I have done couple gigs now but yes. I am still a beginner. but I can say for myself I am experienced beginner!
You can pm If you dont understand what I mean and sorry one more time of those rude posts.

I'm sure, if anything, he'll learn a lot and will have fun - which is the whole point of this contest.
