I was just searching around youtube and I found this great video of the final hands from the 1981 WSOP when Stu Ungar won for the 2nd time. This video features a great interview piece with Amarillo Slim. Enjoy it.

Stu Ungar was a legend, it is too bad he passed away when he was so young...

Yeah, i wonder how he would size up against the fields of the main event these days. After all, he did win it three times.

I agree that Stu was a legend.

The same can't be said about Amarillo Slim, though. From recent molestation charges, to cheating during games, to derogatory remarks against women...

I just watched the 81 wsop last week. U can see Stu kinda givin his nose a rub when he's interviewed at the end. I hate the commentary by that guy who's prolly never played a hand in his life. Bobby Baldwin's commentary is good.

It is too bad Stu's dead. He'd be the ultimate pro/celeb.

Ha, that's messed up. He is an old redneck, so really, what do you expect. Razz No offense Doyle.

I saw that and it's pretty interesting. Bad acting aside. Razz

There's also a documentary called One of a Kind, it's also quite interesting.

Very nice footage. Poker has grown so much in just 25 years. From 750k to over 55m, and it is showing no signs of slowing down. You have to give it up to Stu though. Truly one of the best.

Sad to see him in the 81 world series, so full of potential, and then in the 97 world series, rarely smiling, nose twisted, incredibly skinny.

The "Tales" section on Wikipedia has some cool stories.
