As titled, how much is your poker bankroll in relation to the blinds?

I buy-in for the maximum amount (100 times the big blind) twice in a session and if I lose it all, then I'm done for the night. So basically for one session, my bankroll would be 200 times the big blinds.

I've seen a lot of players reaching into their pockets as they go broke for the 1999384th time. I don't really like that because to a certain extent, it'll definitely affect their play for the night as they try to reach break even.

Cheers

Here's a good article by the Full Tilt Team, on starting bankroll.

http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/proLessons.php?lesson=44

John D'Agostino agrees, "You should never play a limit where you feel uncomfortable." He suggests that a player shouldn't put more than five percent of his bankroll in play at any time.

"You need a much bigger bankroll in tournaments than you do is side games," agrees Chris Ferguson. "A lot of people play tournaments without nearly enough. You easily need 100 buy-ins. Maybe 200."

Recreational... a lot less then professionally...

Limit:

Rec. Player: 300-500 big beats (that's not a big blind it's double a big blind)

Pro: 1000-1500 big beats + 6 months living expenses IMO it would be whatever the player is comfortable with in feeling that they have absolutely zero risk in going bust and not being able to pay there rent or whatever...

No Limit:

Rec. Player: 10-25 max buy-ins (like $1/$2 blinds is $200 max so 200*25 = $5k)

Pro: 35-50 buyins + 6 months living expenses (I wouldn’t know real well about this it varies more from player to player again limit and NL are bout same in the since that you don't want to feel pressured about making money)
