Post bee's or tally's....? Reply with quote
i prefer bee's because they are not bordered and sleights as seconds, bottoms, centers are almost invisible....Tally's are good for double lift's though...

The softer the cards the better they are for a magician since they have less spring back force. This may not seem major, but the spring back force is what causes most if not all of the unwanted noise during card manipulation. It also causes pinky breaks to be visible from the front of the deck since it makes the cards not want to align, and you have to subtly apply force to the deck to keep them in shape. It also makes it harder to do most undercover manipulations involving a few cards. For example, it make the Sankey style double lifts much harder. There really is no reason to use a rigid deck if you're a sleight of hand card magician.

My first few decks were Bicycles, then I tried Tally-hos for a while, but then I went back to Bicycles. I hear that Bees are softer, so they would definitely be better, but I've never tried them. A few days ago I ordered a couple Ghost decks and a couple Bicycle masters because I heard that they are softer and also because I wanted to check out that finish for the first time, I will see how they turn out.
