Post bicycle cards sold in melbourne? Reply with quote
hi im just wondering if there are these Bicycle cards, or bee or Tally ho,s that are sold in melbourne [Australia, Victoria, Melbourne]

ordering online is pretty expensive if u convert the $$ to aus dollars + shipping
i estimated ordering one Bicycle deck from any online sites averages to about $10 + a deck in australian money

so i was wondering if there were any shops around here or anything that sell em
thnx

hahahaha ur in luck.

ok there are two shops that sell these cards in melbourne CBD.

the first (and my favourite) is 'the magic store' in south bank, on the other side of the yarra to flindersteet station. www.themagicstore.com.au has more info.

the second is bernards magic store, i'm not quite sure where it is, its in the CBD but i'm not sure on specifics (i've never been there) have a look in the yellow pages under cards or hobbies or something like that.

or u could always buy them off ebay. its cheaper and u can get a wider range. the magic store dont sell tallies, they sell most other things except tallies. the average price for a deck is about 8-9$ and off ebay u can get two decks for that.

PM me if u need anymore help.

wat a ripoff. buy off ebay.... its cheaper, easier and unless ur in a hurry (it takes about 3 days from inside AUS) ebay is the way.

the stores are just good to chat to the person, or buy magic books, dvd's or gimmicks.

Although i am on the other side of the world, England, i thought i'd ask a question about getting Bicycle or Tally-ho cards over here. I buy my decks from magicbox.uk.com and thats fine, but are there any shops that sell them over here? On a previous post someone said asda stocked them, though when i looked i couldnt find them?

yeh, i heard that asda stock them as well. This makes sense because they are part of wallmart, a large american chain of supermarkets (which happen to sell bikes). also a wholesaler (*shop that sells in bulk) called costco sells them, but you got to own a business or be a retailer to buy from there otherwise you have to pay a yearly membership fee. I can get cards there because my grandad is an electrician and therefore he qualifies for a membership. Cool

next time my grandad goes down (its in watford) il get him to get me some cards (discount) and il sell some to you scott if you want.

I have a business account with costco and I live in watford.

how random to have people from milton keynes around this board.

I still order them online most of theime costco are quite often ut of stcok and you have to buy a brick as a minimum.

nah they dont sell vipers, black tigers or any other specialty deck..... they used to but Ellusionist didn't let them sell them anymore, i think they wanted those cards to be specialties of Ellusionist.
