Check out the card rating section: http://www.21ace.com/Playing-Cards.php
I myself like using Tally-Hos just because they are more appealing and they seem to last longer and stay in good condition longer than Bicycles do. However I know many people don't find a difference between the two. Bicycles get the job done just as well though, and most people are used to seeing them.
So I'd say use whatever is easier and cheaper for you to aquire.
However, if we're takling about Bicycle League Backs, I would choose them above Tally-Hos Very nice feel to them.

Bicycle cards are very popular, and everyone can buy them easily.
Tall-ho cards are only found at the magic shop. I guess that!
That's why there are more people use Bicycle than Tally-ho!

yah, i always use bikes just cuz they are easy to get. I want Tally-hos BAD but in order to get them i have to drive an hour, to get to my "local" (only) magic shop.

Tally's for both.
Black Tiger's for a couple effects though (mainly because I don't own Tally Gaff cards).

Tallys for flourishing...because they just look so f*cking sweet...
And Bikes for magic...they are near perfect cards and recognized by everyone in the world, which means nobody will be suspicious of the cards.

bikes are softer compared to Tally's.. it all depends on the user tho..
To me Tally and bikes are almost the same..
So jus as long as its either Tally or bikes, its fine wih me..

If someone asks you do use a borrowed deck, make sure it is a good deck. Even if it looks questionable, I won't use it. While it may be embarassing to say the cards suck too much to be used for magic, it is far more embarassing to screw up an effect due to the shitiness of the cards
