Yep Just bought me some of those.
I bought two decks one to open and 1 for my collection but $8 is a lot for one not speciallycoloured deck of Tally's. Thet do look pretty sweet tho.
I post a review as soon as I get them.

I don't blame you dead, those decks look soooo sweet. But 8 bucks a deck...shouldnt even be legal Place those babies at 5 bucks a deck, and those things would sell like hotcakes
Nevertheless, I'm still going to get them. Can't resist such a cool deck...but then again, its just another E deck

They are just suped up Tally ho's... nothing special in terms of stock or finish (same linoid as ho's), blah blah. Look cool though

pfft, very few decks are worth 8 bucks. Man, imagine the money these guys make off of these. 52 pieces of paper, a box, some ink, and some finish.

However, if you simplify everything in life down to that much...everything can be seen as worthless.
Lets say I work my ass off all year long and get 500 pieces of paper for it....well if those pieces of paper are 100 dollar bills, well thats considerable more than just paper.
I go to school every day and try my hardest and bust ass just so I can get a different letter on a piece of paper...well those A's are worth a lot more than the letter F.
Hopefully you see what I mean
And Maverick, I never said it was an E deck gone wrong...just another E deck. You gotta be on crack to say those dont look sweet

I think you're simplifying what I simplified in the first place, and to stop further pointless arguing, I think we can both agree that we know what the other person means.

i want your input on this - i like my cards to be impersonal when i buy them (Tally's, bikes) so that if i write/draw on them they become mine. I don't like the idea of using the split spades deck because it isn't my deck. i've got OCD in that respect.

With the best possible intentions
What the F*ck are you talking about, Writing on your cards, where do you write on them why do you want to make them personal.
As far as I can see its just another USPCC Decks with a new and cool back design ok it has weird jokers and if you know what you're looking at it says db on the spades but no laymen will go oh your using David Baline cards they must be trick ones.
I doubt I'll use them much for performances not at $8 a deck anyway.

Yeah the db thing is pretty sly...to bad I'm stuck with SS. Then again, I guess I could make a heart if I reverse one of them...hmmmmmmmmm
Maybe I'll just stick with dollar signs $$$$

Jonjo,
Did these arrive yet? Marp sent me a pm about reviewing these. He's right, we need to add these to the http://www.21ace.com/Playing-Cards.php section.
If anyone has these cards then please let us know so we can put up a review page.
Thanks,
Eric
