Card College Series? |
|
So I've heard about this Card College series by...giobanni or something like that. I've been seriously thinking about buying it, but I need to know if the book has pictures in it! Or is it just wording? Plz help!

Really cool series of books. Probably the best if you want to start with the card magic.

So...I know that it's really long- each at least 250 pgs long. But what's in it? Is it step by step? I'm thinking that I buy this entire series or get the Show-off with Cards Dvd but I dunno about that one-- i'll probably start a new thingie for that one

Card College was orginally published in German as a giveaway for Roberto Giobbi's magic club. The volumes start with the basics and then get progressively more advanced.
At the time of the first volume coming out there was a significant debate as to whether it would replace Royal Road to Card Magic as the de facto beginner's card book. The jury is still out on that one, but it is certainly a very good learning resource.
It would most definitely be a better choice than a DVD - you will get far more information for a similar price. If, however, you are a visual learner, Lybrary.com sells an ebook version which has embedded video clips of various techniques.
Take care, Ian
