If you want to cheat by the type of card use marked decks, but be careful because a lot of them are easily detected, if you got the money buy a juice deck or something... Personally I don’t cheat but I know how too… it helps catch people that try it…

One of my favorite Austin Powers lines is when he says, "Allow myself to introduce...myself"
It is difficult to express the humor in writing but he realizes he has already said myself so he doesn't want to say myself again but he does because he can't think of any other synonyms.

Actually you can't buy them, rather you must make them. Go to the grocery store and go to the produce section. Find the best lemons you can (the better the lemons the better quality juice you'll get). Normally 3-4 lemons is plenty for 2 decks of cards. When you get home you have to extract the 'juice' somehow (use whatever method you wish, but try to get as little pulp into the juice as possible). Now get a very fine paint brush and mark the back of all of your cards - use whatever symbols (letters, numbes, signs) you want for the suit and number of the cards. When you done let them dry for several hours. You now have your 'juiced' deck. In order to see the marks you just have to unfocus you eyes, and you should be able to pick up the marks (it works because the marks are much easier to see when your vision is blurred). But I would recommend that you wait a few days before using them in a game. You smell might give you away, because any card expert knows that the smell of lemon means a 'juiced' deck is being used. The smell will go away after a few days though, but I suggest wearing heavy cologne anyways, just in case.

"My god, Vanessa's got a fabulous body... I bet she shags like a minx."
Austin Powers: Not the time to lose one's head.
Vanessa: No.
Austin Powers: That's not the way to get ahead in life.
Vanessa: No.
Austin Powers: It's a shame he wasn't more headstrong.
Vanessa: Hmm.
Austin Powers: He'll never be the head of a major corporation.
Vanessa: Okay, that'll do.
Austin Powers: Okay.

Sorry, should I take it down or is it allowed to stay up? I knew I was giving away a trick of the trade (many people don't know about this, only the true diehards), and wasn't sure how you all would react...

We can just consider this strike one and let it slide.
I dunno, it depends on what the others think. I am not as well informed in card manipulation as I would like to be.

Why does it matter if he says stuff like that?
I was watching a TV show (I think it was Las Vegas... Brutal show) and these people marked decks with chemicals, and wore contact lenses laced with a different chemical that makes the one on the card show green. They marked all the aces or something.
Yeah none of you will be able to do this but I just thouhgt it was cool.

I highly doubt that "Lemon" Juice produces the right effect. Why do cardsharps talk about the solvent (Used to be alcohol to dry fastest so it doesn't ruin the card) and have their own Juice Recipies. If it was as simple as juicing a deck with a pack of lemons... pssh, who cares.
Sure it may blur it, but I say its as useless as that "Juice" they sell online for 25 dollars. The recipes that people come up with for quick drying, non UV-reactive(Short and Long wave) juice that dissolves and dissaptes over time is something else enterily. Not to mention there's another aspect dealing with the application of the Juice rather then the Juice itself.

You shouldnt either, I was joking. Hahaha, sorry, I figured the sarcasm of the 'juiced' deck would pan out and give it away (all the comments after with blaze were just jokes also). I guess the real humor could have come when people actually started trying to do it, I could have just let this ride out a little longer, but I'm not that mean...

lemon juice...
show of hands, who else learned this in cub scouts?
haha, has anyone done this one? (i'm too lazy to make it coherent i bet, but let's try it out, make an EXTREME attempt to bare with me)...it's complicated and hard to do without anyone noticing, but you MUST know your table.
you're the dealer. the cards are all given out, and everyone's bettin' preflop...remember your hand (not that hard). collect the folded hands and throw 'em close enough to where the community cards are to be. choose your own direction:
choice #1 (probability or replacement) burn a card to the left, deal the flop, then immediately place the NEXT burn to the left...creating a "new hand" wink wink! when the flop's betting round begins and no one's looking your way, take a peek at the burns. and if you're relying on something within those cards, then you'll know exactly when to fold. if you'd look better (like burned aces or kings?), then simply take the burn cards!
choice #2 (foresight) burn a card, deal the flop, then immediately throw the next burn to the side and place the turn-to-be in front of the community cards (which is also in front of you, how nice!)...you'll actually look all organized. do this again with the next burn and eventual river...all while the flop's round of betting is going on. the eyes are usually off of you until the action comes to you anyways. practice this (know the odds for what the other hands could be), get it to be absolutely subtle and nonchalant (as with any cheat)...make it look real and innocent. it's all in the setup...and without actually showing you, just do whatever it takes to make it seem more and more possible (to fool others).
choice #3 (a mixture) take choice #1 and choice #2 and find out what's best for you to take it down. it's actually really possible, especially if you're throwing it fair...all the way until the huge action runs into the game. then you can take it down and take the lead/win/money/respect.
i'm horrible at explaining scenarios. meh...

There is one guy in our group who tends to be a bit less than honest when playing. In order to ensure you never have a fixed deck I always, and I mean ALWAYS bring 2 fresh, unopened and SEALED decks to the game with me......2 decks may cost me $5 but that is small potatoes compared to losing $100+ to a marked deck.
As to actually wanting to cheat....here's my take on it....learn the game, learn how to read people, and learn when and when not to act. (raise, call, fold). These skills will not only get better with time, but they are things that will get you respect from your fellow players and satisfaction of earning what you did honestly. If you can't, I suggest cheating 5 of your closest buddies out of their cash in a game, get caught, and see how many friends you'll have and how many games you'll ever get invited to next time there is a game. In the end, you stand to lose more than you gain.
PS, I've seen people lose entire sets of teeth when caught cheating....and it ain't pretty. And they were lucky it was just teeth.
Cheers

You're only 13 so just take this time and build skill. If you decide to cheat later in life at poker it won't be pretty.
