I think that the forum is really good. ( i mean its the 1st forum that i join so i dont have so much experience )
I dont understand why do u want to change the forum structure? and what can we do better?

-keep all the card and penspinning video
-make a better video sections with tutorials
-make chip tricks one forum and pool tricks one forum

-I think too that the home page is really too messy. the 1st time that i visit 21 ace i didnt understood anything so it was hard for me to find the forum.
-We need to put a forum for the person that need help, for the new members and their new video, one if it has nothing to do with chip tricks.....
-We need to leave the thing with the newest comments on the home page so we wont have to visit each forum to see whats new. ( this thing was a really good idea )

All the things above the Profile, Private Messages, Search ect. just don't look right or modern and can be kind of confusing to new members. It seems like they are too cluttered together and could use a whole page dedicated to just these things that are at the very top. Perhaps that could be the home page.
When I first came to the site I saw this collage of flash pictures and it looked like some kind of advertisement, rip off kind of site.
Oh, I just noticed something that can be annoying. When you do something that requires a log in and your not logged in it directs you to the log in page. After you log in it does not take you back to the page that you were wanting to go to. Example: I just tried to look at TheTallestChip profile and after I logged in was not directed to his profile page again. If that could be fixed that would be better.

I think i speak for everyone on the pool forums when i say this:
I agree with the following things:
- 21ace, the name should NEVER be changed!!!
- a seperate forum for pool and chiptricks
- a less messy home page
- more up-to-date news about trickshots and chiptricks on the homepage
- chance for video section with tutorials
I know that creating and changing this all will have the people who work at the forum working a lot, but I hope that someday this can be achieved. I actually like the lay-out and colors of the frum as it is, but I agree it looks a little old... but too much features will also mess up the unique 21ace forum style, so I don't really mind. One thing i would like to see are the embedded youtube players in a forum so it's easier to show vids. Now you have to click a link, which sometimes is typed wrong by the owner and you have to edit it for yourself...
Once again, I'm not complaining or anything, I'm just giving you my 2 cents and I think a lot of the pool players will agree with me on this one.

Probably not going to make one. I'm just a fan and a casino dealer. I only know thumb flip, twirl (we always called it spin the center), shuffle, and hit the chip on the table for a spin back move lol. I am a real fan. Hope that helps explain man, sorry.

You should make a complete relaunch. Only a forum. No website. This one is oldfashion. Use a WBB. Buy the license... no card or penspinning. But i know no one will do s.th...

That wouldn't probably work. The forum can hardly pay its own costs if it is not quite big. You would also need a lot of traffic and hope that somebody from the people coming to the site stays at the forums. The 21ace site have quite a nice traffic but almost nobody goes to the forum and registers.

too bad we actually get decent traffic here. i guess no one really considers chip tricking as a seperate art anymore.
btw does 21ace still generate revenue from the ads and stuff?

Well, I'm not sure if it is separate. I think that there are not many tricks that you might actually use at the Poker Table and you can easily learn them from for instance youtube, where you can also get some advice. People are lazy to register to another forum . But then there are many more artistic tricks which are probably not worth the time for many people.
I think there are two possible ways of development of the art. Either to somehow feature those artistic tricks and make people interested in them or to develop some completely new which would easy enough to learn and could be performed at the table.
And yes it still generates something.

I think if this site gets a new style. Not so oldfashion like this one many visiters would register. (Site about Penspinning. It looks clearly more modern and look how many members they have in the forum. btw: it's only german so if it would be english it would have much more members...)
Another thing is that if you google for "Chiptricks" or "Pokertricks" you won't find anything about this site. And if you come to the site and the oldfashion style with the moving .gif's at top you would leave the side immediately because they link this side is dead...
