Darwin's Encyclopedia of Thumb Tip Magic |

I searched the site and couldn't find anything about this DVD. Does anyone have it and if so, is it good?
And where could I find a Thumb Tip?

It all depends on the quality of TT you want I suppose...you can buy a hard cheap plastic one (gets the job done but more noticeable) for like a couple dollars...or you could go to the other extreme and order a custom soft one for what I have heard to be anywhere from 40-100 bucks.
The DVD, as far as I have heard, is great for TT magic...though I'm not a big fan of it. The name says what it is...youll learn a lot from it

Note on Thumb Tips. You can use a Pretty Pink Plastic Shampoo Cap as a Thumb Tip and no one would be the wiser if you performed it correctly.
It irks me just a little when someone comes into the Magic Shop and the Tips don't exactly match their color, or the nail doesn't look real, or any myriad of reasons that its just not perfect.
Note in general for Magic. The audience should be interested, enthralled and not notice the simple things. Pull them along on an enjoyable ride. Right at this moment, yes right here I could commit murder without a soul noticing.
Hiding the elephant doesn't require smoke and mirrors, just something a little more interesting.

Is it possible to get a thumb tip at like a dollar store or do I have to get it off the internet??

Not sure if a dollar store would sell them but I suppose it doesn't hurt to check
Believe me, if you find a magic store they should have one AT LEAST under 4 dollars. If you are a good magician you shouldnt need a really nice, expensive one.

Yeah, I'm not looking to spend a lot on a Thumb Tip...just looking for something that'll get the job done

A Vernet Soft Thumb tip is the way to go, i used to alot of TT work, its an underestimated tool and when utilized can be extremley useful
my favorite is the 0 dollar bill switch Jay Sankey teaches

So I should get the 4.95$ Vernet Soft TT instead of the 2.45$ Vernet Classic TT
