ok, here is the new design i am workin gon, remember still a work in progress.
The denoms are because we start out at 5 and 10 blinds an dthen it goes up from there. so for our types of games it is sort of needed.

Your new mock ups look much better than the first ones post some pics when you have your final design...

Generally speaking you might not need a 10 denomination.

I think the denominations are good, I actually use the same numbers for my home game.
Nice pics, but I actually think the first ones are sweeter because they are more original then the circle inside a circle. Sure I wouldn't pick a star as the shape... but you get my point.

It is an improvment fer sure. The colors are nice.
You could always use two 5s in place of the 10 chip, and two 25s in place of the 50 chip.

I think for tourney-style hold'em with 5/10 blinds, you'll find a 500 denom much more useful than a 50.
Late in the game 5s and 10s are going to be out of play.
With 1000 chips, you have a lot of leeway. Depending on how many people you expect to be playing and how many chip dollars they start with, you could easily have both $50 and $500 chips.

we start out using 5 and tens and then color up at about the 10th to 15th round, I have Paulson 500 and 1000 chips, so these are only going to be used for the 5 to 100, here is the design that i think i'ma go with..
tell me what you guys think

Those look nice.
The traditional color scheme for casino denoms are, red $5, green $25, black $100, blue $500, and yellow or purple $1000s.
It's also the denoms that most casinos use, and the reason for these denoms is because it's the most versitile. 1500 casinos can't be wrong.
I like the design, not the denoms and color choice.
I also agree that if this is a tournament set, you will prolly need a $500 chip.

salito718, the pictures in your most recent post are definitely the best design.
I like the ones without the $ sign and I wouldn't mind seeing the numbers in a slightly smaller size but that is just a personal preference.

I was actually thinking of having the digits in a larger size, but yea, it's all preferance.
I had Lynbark do my lables. I'm ordering more shortly. Note that they are paper labels and won't last as long as vinyl ones.

Your last design is not very good, in my opinion. They won't match the chips well and look to... cheesy or whatever. The ones before them were freaking sweet though, I like the ones with the $ signs better.

This spot is where everyone gets their vinyl labels done. The best deal from what I'm aware of.
I also like the 3rd design with out the '$' the best.

I totally agree. I have hung around the forum allot but this is my first post.. I followed this link to www.personalpokerchips.com and ordered 2000 labels + 1000 Nexgens and a 1000 acrylic case for $320 delivered.
My results were fantastic. I'll have actual pics as soon as I apply them but in the meantime here is a sample proof that I received from Jason

Nice labels. Can't wait to see pics. I was about to order some vinyls from him along with some more Nexgens. I need the $$ first.
