Hey Venom my advise to you is do it im kind of in the same boat I was asked to preform at the Navy hospital in San Diego, Ca with Dan Propp a Billiard monk master and Jim Barnard ( who competed at the Artistic Cup) my show is on the 14th of May im nervous too. but like my instructors said this is the only way to get over being nervous. what good is knowing all thease shots if you cant preform in front of large crouds.
Take care and God Bless

Awsome Venom,What An Oppertunity I Definitly Think You Should Accept Because You Never Know When The Next Chance Like This Come Up.YOU Definitly Have All The Right Stuff For A Show Like This As For Being A Little Scared Nervous We All Would Be.You Can Do It Go For It

thanks Abdiaz and jkn, and ppooler, yes i know i think the same but when the producersaid me u probably came too, i was happy, cause i thought we can help us when the other will have problem...of course if u don't come, it's a little different, but i think i'll accepted...
it's a gold opportunity, and even if i''ll make bad tricks, i'm only 19yasrs old, so ive no pressure: first TV first exhibition...i'm quite better without the pressure... and an other thing is the money...with this show i'll earn the same money if i had sold burgers during 2 months^^
i'm in a brainstorming...for instance...

lol venom, i got the same email a few days ago from someone called Jacky Alvo, and i do think this is a little early for me so i didn't let him know anything
at first i thought it was just a joke from someone since my contact page on the website only worked for like 5 hours till i got the email and although this may be a big opportunity, i have to agree with ppooler. it's best you start small, so you get over the fact being nervous in front of crowds and then if you get invited to a bigger tournament or exhibition, you can already cope with the pressure...
but this is just my opinion, if you want to go for it, go for it! it's a great opportunity and you will learn a lot, but if you want to make a BIG DEBUT, it's best to wait a little longer i think...

don't let me alone guys^^!!!you imagine: ppooler, you and me on a show, it must be awesome!!!
and i think it's possible to do perfectly something like 20 shots if we have 2 month of practicing!

well, i don't think they'll let me you and ppooler come all together. and even if i could go, i'd still not go. i know for sure it would be possible to put something together (IF they let you decide the shots) but i'm not quite ready for this. i've been playing trickshots for almost a year now. i need much more practice! of course there is no pressure or anything since you and me are only 19 but do you really think you are ready to entertain a crowd of 100-200 people in English?
i've sent an email to ask how this exhibition will work:
- choose your own shots?
- dresscode?
- lanuage?
- prizes?
- expenses covered?
- sponsor?
- ...
i don't know if you know anything about all these factors, since
the email i got from jacky alvo was very vague and general...

well it's also vague but know more thing:because i chat with the producer on msn:
that's a 4 days event, with a Tv show and an advertising
Paul Gerni could participate, it's almost sure...
you can made free shots, shots u like and impressive shot with a public participation.
about the language not sure it's only in english, probably a translator cause they speak spanish it seems
prize, u must decide your price and after they agree or disagree
BUT today i ve search: a plane ticket cost something like 1200$, so it's very expensive, im actually not sure we can earn a lot of money...But he says that paul gerni is very expensive: 7000$ for a show i saw on his website...that probably the reason for that they contated our 3, we are not so expensive...
i'm really embarassing, don't knowwhat i must made...but like i said: all end have a start so, why not now??
And no im not sure i can do a show in english!!!!!!but Bogdan Wolkowski made this so, probably u can replace the speaking moments by mor shots^....

well venom, that's entirely up to you! if you really want to go, go for it! i'm sure you can impress a lot of people with some nice massé shots
but i don't think i will be going, i'm still in the learning process and do not have enough consistency for an exhibition like this...
it does seem like a nice event, and i think that if you ask them for +/- 3000$ you can almost afford a dieckman so why not?
i would be very happy for you, if you actually did this and pulled off an amazing exhibition, but i will also completely understand if you wouldn't do this...

ok ive talked to a great french pool player at the phone, a friend of vincent facquet and an ex pool world champ:
i called him along time and for him idon't be ready to do an exhibition of this tall, it's just too much for me, and he said if i 'll be ridiculous it can influence my carreer after...so i probably can meet facquet this summer to learn how i must do with a public, and also meet some great technical player like jean reverchon....the unbelivable artistic billiard player, BUT for instance for him im not ready, not at the shots but to entertain an audience....so my response is closed now... hope i can have the same luck an other time...

If I were you, I would definitely do it. Always jump on an opportunity like this. The exposureis worth the cost, regardless, at this stage in your career.
I'd do if if I were asked.
Does Paul Gerni charge 7k? That doesn't seem right. But, I don't know.
Let me know if they need another.

im really really really hesitant: one hand a lot of guy said me im not be able to do something of this tall, on the other,i know i can easily do 20 or more pro shots..BUT what scared me is the public, 200 people, thats really too much and also in english...
don't know, great french players said im too young and i havent already the capacity, don't know if it's the reality or the jealousy.. and you and lot of other people said i must go...
ive ask to the producer, paul gerni take 6000$...
Actually i really don't know what i must made...but of course Yow,if i don't go i'll talk about you to this guy! Probably u can made me the same favor in the futur!
