Frogger on GameTap |
|
Today I installed GameTap on my backup laptop(yesterday I got it going on my main laptop) and it went fairly smooth. I then downloaded Frogger and had my 5-year old give it a try. I figured it would be the perfect game for him because it is fairly simple, just moving up, down, left or right(no buttons required). After a short time my son started to get the hang of it. Once he got warmed up he was able to cross both the street and the river with one of the frogs. Now that he "gets" Frogger I think it is time to get our x-box out again and try some more advanced games. My 3-year old was another story. She understood that her actions controlled the movement of the frog but she was not able to make the frog cross the street and the river successfully.
Tomorrow I might install GameTap on the laptop that the kids use so that they can fire it up whenever they're bored. They already use the computer a lot to go to the Disney site so they should catch on to GameTap quickly.
