Well, it does say...
"On this DVD he demonstrates and explains many sleight-of-hand techniques that are used to cheat at Poker. You will learn about false shuffles, false dealing, peeking at cards, switching cards, marking cards, controlling cards during shuffles, bend work, culling discards, crimping, palming, cold decking, false cuts, daub work, nullifying cuts, holding out, and much more. Each subject is further covered with demonstrations and discussions about related variations and techniques. This is a crash course in what is possible at the Poker Table."

well, it's only 60 minutes long but George Joseph has some awesome material and if you watch the travel channell, there's a show that exposes casino scams and he's one of the narrarators in it. btw it's only 19.95 which isn't that much for a dvd usually.

I have the original video of this, and although I've not watched it for ages, it's standard demonstrations of the moves, much like Forte et al.
It's not a teaching tape, but interesting nonetheless.
Take care, Ian

I agree...it is a good DVD...but, don't expect to be able to learn technique. It simply exposes methods....(ie. you can't expect to learn a bottom deal just because you saw someone perform one well.)
If you want exposure to see what can be done at a card table, then it is a good DVD. Just don't expect to learn techique.

Well, you can learn a great deal from demonstration clips. I know I have, but it does require a grounding in the principles at play - for example you need to be familiar with the various palms and mucks to be able to understand an interpret most mucks demonstrated. I don’t own this DVD, but I own another George Joseph one and thought he executed all the techniques demonstrated impeccably well, it naturally depends what you’re after - if you want to learn something such as the bottom deal or second deal there are far better recourses - just name the sleight you want to learn and I’m sure someone will be able to guide you in the right direction- but some of the more esoteric techniques aren’t in print and can only really be picked up from demonstration videos.
