does the Ghost deck have UV-500 finish like the Tally-Ho Vipers.
Whats peoples opinions on them. Are they worth it or do you think the Vipers are better. Ive got the vipers and really like them, will i like these?

Personally, I only buy 2 of each of those specialty decks like the Tigers, Vipers, Ghosts...etc. 1 for my collection, the other one to use. I cannot justify spending 7-8 bucks on a Tiger or Viper (without shipping) on a normal basis. Sure I'll treat myself to a deck once and a while but I'd rather buy a deck of bikes or Tallys for 2 bucks, save the extra 10 bucks (deck+shipping) and eventually that adds up....leading me to be able to buy some DVDs and magic material, rather than only having decks that do the same things as my bikes except be a different color.

Midget Drummer:
To answer your question, yes the Ghost deck is black light sensitive. While the Vipers and Tigers are definitely better, the Ghosts are much cheaper. Spending $8 for a deck of cards is pretty bad, but at least it's not as bad as some of these knuckleheads who spend $100 or more on one deck of those ugly-ass Jerry's Nuggets cards.

You mean a $100 deck than can last up to 2 years? Sure they are ugly, but if you have ever actually used them, you would know that they are the best cards for flourishing. By the way, it is possible to get one for less than $50, you just have to look around....

Jerry's are a great deck of cards, plain and simple. I talked down on them until I got a deck of them now I love em. Smooth finish, stiff, and a very thin stock. BTW you can get them for way less than $100.

Whether Jerry's Nuggets cost $100, $50, or hell even $20 is just ridiculous. Now, if they really did last 2 years then yes, they would be worth it. But I find it extremely hard to believe that ANY deck of cards could last 2 years (and be in decent condition the whole time) unless they just sat around on a shelf, or if you practiced some cuts (*yawn*) once in a great while. There's no way anyone could practice shuffles, cuts, armspreads, etc for - let's say - 6 months and expect the deck to be anything but a steaming pile after that. Do I even need to ask what a fan would look like after that 6 months?
Another exception to spending that kind of money would be if you were a collector (meaning the pack never gets opened), then it might be ok to buy one or two packs.

I used to think just like you did...until I bought my first deck of Jerrys (36 bucks shipped by the way). And its true...these things do last. I bought them opened but lightly used and they feel like they are in perfect condition.
I am also appalled you call them ugly I think they have the best back design of any card.
I am a card collector so I did buy this with the original intent of adding to my collection but I couldnt help myself but to take em out for a few cuts and fans...I'm telling you they are unbelievable. Whats your perfect deck? Most likely something that sticks together like glue for 1 and 2 hand cuts, spreads smoothly for fans and arm/table spreads, and has the perfect back design? Well, thats how I think of Jerry's. For 36 bucks I think I got a hell of a deal

Just personal preference, dude. If they are as good as you say they are for flourishes, then I wouldn't care if the design was a giant penis (well, wait a minute...). Just for the record, my favorite design would have to be Viper fan backs.
Just to clarify, I don't mind paying top dollar for quality cards. My problem was I found it hard to believe that those cards could last so long. If I got a deck for $36 or so (like Marp) and they lasted even a few months, then that would be ok with me. My question is how long do these decks REALLY last? I know everyone practices different shit, so an exact answer can't really be given. But Marp, you see the shit I do in my videos - how would the Jerry's hold up with me?

Haha lol! Yeah I don't think my friends would look at me the same way if I used cards that had pictures of male genitalia on them.

Haha I meant that more of a joke...its strictly opinion and everyone is entitled to that so I was just messin with yeh
Not sure how they would suit you...see my deck was opened when I got it, but still very lightly used, if at all. But I still dont know exactly what it is like to use a "brand new" deck. Problem is...when I use the deck I am always thinking to myself "expensive deck, I paid for this, rare...dont drop dont drop dont bend, etc." So I wouldn't recommend them much for training, but nonetheless they are stellar cards. They arent the best for fanning or spreads/springs, but they can still work.
For you, I'd say just stick with what cards you are using. Why change something that works you know? I will only be using the Jerry's at select times for special things...they are mainly for my collection.

why dosent annyone just get a deck and keep it in good condition (like washing hands before using it n' stuff) cuz i have a uisual blue back Bicycle deck and ive done loads o arm-spreads'n stuff and it is still in good condition...................annyway.........what does jerrys cards look like....as in the back design + ace symbol..............i got almost immediatlly got a Ghost deck when it came out....( well actually 3 packs ).....you cant do a face down arm-spread cuz all of the cards are bent down the middle and it gets caught on yer arm .......but otherwise the cards are great esspecally if it is a sunny day cuz it shines like like nuts (if you spread them out or make a fan with them) and it really gets lots of attention...me was lining up to go to enter 'The Magic Circle' and somebody becide me had some ghosts and im tellin' ya.....IT BURNED!!! .......not really.....but it was very shiny

How can you say that . I've got some Tally-ho vipers, and although they cost a bit more than regular cards, they are the best cards i've ever used to flourish with.

How often do you guys replace your working decks. I open a new pack every gig. Honestly I get Poker 808s for just a hair over $1 per pack, and that's about all I'm willing to sacrifice at the rate I go through em.
