Green Bicycles |

Have any of you purchased a deck of the new green bikes? I heard that they're only selling them in the UK right now. I saw a deck on a website, but i forget which one. I haven't seen anyone use them yet, so if anyone has them, please make a video with them so I can see what they actually look like.

Yes, I would like to check them. But for me it isn't very easy to get them. When I found someone seling them it's either too overpriced or the shop doesn't deliver to Europe. If you could get some more I would be glad .

Yes they have standard green Bicycles but not the US military Bicycles (so called Tactical decks) which are dark green or black I think.

There is a big difference between tacticals, Christmas season bikes, and green bikes.
Tacticals are made to be used in the rain and stuff, they are a tough card.
The only place I've seen normal green bikes is at magicbox. They have black too.
The christmas ones are green but they have snowflakes instead of the normal bike design. No idea what the quality is.

I have bought three BRAND NEW SEALED GREEN Bicycle CARDS from www.ebay.com. I think all together they cost around $30.00 (£16.00). Very cheap and hopefully in a 10-15 or so years time I will sell one of those sealed boxes on ebay for a lot of money:D

Actually that is far from very cheap. I have 2 decks that I paid about $4 each for. They look like Bikes obviously but the feel like Bee's ....a little more heavy duty.
If you know someone in the military they can get them at their base for about $2 a pack.

The Tactical Green Bicycle decks are great. They have a different finish than regular Bicycle decks (somewhat similar to the black Tiger decks) that makes the cards feel thicker and last a little longer. The decks I have handled have all been perfectly cut and required no breaking in. All around a great deck.

If you know someone in the military they can get for about $1.80 a pack at the place where people in the military get things.
If you don't know someone there you can spend more money and get them from ebay.

The first impression of most magicians that shuffle a deck of Tactical Green’s is that they are thicker and heavier. The weight of a tactical green card is actually within .01 grams of a regular Bicycle card. What makes the cards feel thicker and heavier is that they use a completely different finish than regular Bicycle cards.
Finish has a surprisingly large influence on how a deck of cards feels and handles. The Tactical Green decks use a wax based finish that makes the cards feel thicker and heavier. The cards are also slightly more durable, and like the old USPC cards, has an alcohol resistant finish. Historically, cards that use a wax finish have been cheaper to manufacture. Combined with the fact that they are more durable, Casino’s commonly use similar playing cards on their tables.
If you want a deck, I would follow chipmaster’s advice and find a friend in the military. Otherwise, Ebay is probably your best bet.

Nevermind, I found a place that sells them. http://www.williamsmagic.com/ They sound like great people and a nice family business. I ordered a deck of tacticals from them for $5, which is nice because I dont have any military friends.
I got a prompt response from them and they shipped the deck out the same day they got the money order. They are still working on the site and there is no picture or description for the deck, but they have them. Just simply click on Go Shopping on their homepage, then do a search for tactical field.
Highly recommended

I have purchased from http://www.williamsmagic.com/ as well and agree that they are highly reliable and great to do business with. They also have a huge inventory of hard to find items, the tactical green decks being the least of which.
