Lookin to get ma hands on some Nevada Jacks or something similar but can't seem to find a supplier in Britain.. Any ideas??
Alternatively somewhere stateside that isn't gonna charge loads for shipping... sidepot got a good deal on Neophytes at the moment 80bucks for 500.. but the shipping is $170 !!

Well, I hummed and hawed for a while but have (for the time being at least) gone for some Nexgen Lucky Bees. I did kind of fancy some customs but frankly my budget doesn't stretch to $500-$1000 for the chips and then shipping, VAT etc.
I think my 650 Bees with labels will total at about £170. 500 Paulsons would be I reckon £400 minimum, although maybe cheaper with some more thorough research amongst US stockists re delivery. Then again, after discovering all these poker chips sites I think I'm just delaying the inevitable upgrade...

its a nightmare being in the UK to get some decent chips at a reasonable price!
shipping from the US costs a bomb and is too much for me! so, uk suppliers, we can get the Nexgen range, dice, suits, 11.5g diamonds, Nevada Jacks (@50p/c!!!!!!) and a few others cheaper type chips!
the only place which do good chips is marlowchips. however, their prices are unbelievably expensive! plus, the only chips from marlow that i would pay that price for were the TR King classics but they have been discontinued now! if only Nexgen did a solid chips range with no edge spots!!! then i'd be happy. the TR king deadwood chips are absolutley gorgeous but retail at £435 for 500, can't justify spending that much on chips (yet)
eurocoin provides an outlet for Chipco Chips but i haven't been in contact with them yet about prices. however, i do know that they do custom chipcos but again, they will come with a heafty price tag!!!
arrghhhh...... i want a decent set of chips but i don't want to pay over the odds prices, wish we had the choice as they do over the pond!
rant over
Mike
