How to get bicycle cards abroad? |
|
Hi, I'm from the Netherlands, and this site has been really useful to me. But the only cards I have practiced with are free paper cards and cheap plastic cards. I would like to buy some Bicycle cards, but I have no idea where to buy them here in the Netherlands. I know that Sreename is living in the Netherlands (at least that is what his profile says), so Sreename, how do you get Bicycle cards? (That is, if you do have them)

Hi,
i think you can order them from any magic shop if you have a credit card. Check Ellusionist or MJM Magic

Well,
First of all welcome to the forum
I don't know where in the Netherlands you live, but in Utrecht you have a shop wich sells Bicycles. Also there is a very good shop in Maastricht called: Vlieg er Uit (they have a webshop too www.vliegeruit.com) and if that won't help you you have one of the biggest poker related sites in the Netherlands www.pokerchips.nl where you can go. Also you can go to the biggest online magic shop wich is in the Netherlands www.dynamitemagic.nl
I hope this helps you a bit. Also you can check out the adresses Shadow gave you. They are solid too!

Thanks guys for the tips.
But I see that a normal Bicycle card deck cost 3,50 euro (about 4 US dollar) per deck. But I guess the price doesn't really matter to me.
@Sreename, since I don't live near Utrecht or Maastricht, although nothing is too far in the Netherlands , (and I'm a bit too lazy to go there myself ), I think I'll consider ordering them online.
I think Dynamite Magic would be my choice for where i would buy it. But will I have to pay for external leverage costs (verzendkosten)?

@ Soap
Yeah you will have to pay a few shipping costs, but they are minimal also if you order more you will pay less so get some friends (or just order 5 or more decks yourself) and make a large order it will be cheaper.

Yeah thanks again guys.
I think I'll go for the 5 decks for 15 euro, or maybe 10 for 25.
Thanks Eman, but i think I'd be better off buying them here in the Netherlands.
Hope I'll be getting them soon, then I can start practicing tricks with some real cards
