Paulson Chips are the best.
Many people have talked about them on the http://www.21ace.com/reviews/Poker-Chips-James-Bond-Paulsons.php James Bond page, the Pharaoh's page and on the Hat and Cane page.
Using our links to Vegas Supplies, Spinettis or WeDoItAllVegas(hat and cane version only) and using our "21ace" coupon code gets you good prices at safe, reputable companies.
Good Luck.

Not when you give people 2 hours to respond, no, you won't get much input. But I agree with Eric, Paulson's are the best. I bought a sample of the James Bond Paulson's off of www.apachepokerchips.com, I couldn't afford a whole set. And I have to say they are the best chips i've ever used.

I've got an 800 piece set of Pharaohs, the only better chip would be original JB's in the H&C mold, but as far as new chips go I like the look of my pharaohs.

They have the original H&C mold?
Not the "Paulson" mold. The left pic is of the new 2005 JB's with Paulson mold the right pic is the original JB with H&C mold, these are the ones I'm talking about.

Oh, I see what you're talking about now. Yes, the molds with 8 hat and canes on each side are old school. All the recent Paulsons that I've seen have 2 hat and canes on each side.

The TH&C mold isn't "old school", Paulson stop making them available for the retail market, their use is now limited to licensed gaming establishments. The other mold that you'll see is called the House mold that is designed for each casino, you'll see them usually with the name of the casino and perhaps some sort of unique design like a small logo. The Trademark Paulson mold is the one that Paulson currently has available for retail sale and only through Trademark (5stardeal). It's loosely based on the house mold with the Paulson name and the two top hats and canes.
The TH&C design originated with the Christy & Jones company (as in Bud Jones), that was purchased by Paul Endy Jr and renamed to the Paul-Son company. There are several variations of the design that you can see at http://www.antiquegamblingchips.com/molddesign_manmade.htm . The MD76 design is the one that you'll most commonly see these days on casino chips.

Paulson's may be better quality, but IMO they can't compare with your own custom design on an ASM, TRKing, or Blue Chip...unless you can afford to buy 250K Paulsons of course.

I just got my Key West sample, man those chips are beautiful. I hat eto say it though, the feel of the Paulsns still kills them. If ASM could get the same feel as a Paulson, they'd make a killing. Off me at least.
I was going to sell my Pharaohs and buy a set of Key West's, but the weight and feel kills the deal, maybe I'll get a Dunes set from SPinettis.

what about sidepot ? |
|
I haven't tried them but sidepot offers custom clay chips that seem to be better than ASM, almost like Paulson. There is a printing fee though
