Mardi Gras Queen Chipcos |
|
I recently purchased this set. These are casino Chipcos from a cruise in Florida that lasted only a few months. All the chips are unused except the $1's which are lightly used. I've got a T200 Set/cash set here. Using 25 cent Mardi Gras ceramics from Michael at HPC for my quarters in the cash game.
Total set
140 - .25
300 - $1
300 - $5
50 - $10
250 - $25
25 - $100....and counting-need another 75 at least. then some $500's to get a T1000 set.
Total cost for the set so far about $500

I'm with u on that, the .25s are much different looking too than the rest.

The .25's are from another set. The Mardi Gras Queens have no low denom chips so I used the Mardi Gras .25 from the fantasy set. I wish they had a .25 chip at the casino, but they did not. I'm having a hard time collecting the $100 chips...the person selling these will only release small amounts. I am trying to track down 100 of them and then create a $500 chip. There were limited numbers of the higher denom chips made...like 20
This pic shows all the chips made, there are only a handful of $500 and $1000, only about 1500 $100's were made.

Nice chips there Evil. Maybe its just me but I think any chip set with chips of 2.50 denomination is pretty sweet. Don't see that every day.

Well it was an actual casino and I'm sure the $2.50 chip was made for the BJ table.

Yes that's a very nice set. Non-textured?

I believe Chipco has two finishes, smooth (which is like fine sandpaper) and textured which is a little bumpy. The used to have linen which had a pattern, but I don't think those are around anymore.
These are the smooth (sandaper) finish.
