It's basically the same with any shot you take requireing the use of extreme english. The more dirty the balls, the more likely they are to have a great deal of friction, and slow the shot. It's always better to have clean balls, and a clean table. Now that I have my own table at home, I'm discovering just how true this is. I've almost become phenatical about cleaning the balls and my table. Oh! I would like to rejoice and hope you all will rejoice with me. Two Masse shots that have been eluding me have finally succumed to my persistance. lol I still need much work on them to get consistant, but I successfully pulled them off 4-6 times out of 12 attempts yesterday. The Mingaud Masse, and the Hustler shot. Buggers have been frustrating trying to complete them. lol Anyway, still can't get the triple shorty or the 10 ball combo masse I've seen Yow do. Probably need a better cue for those shots than I have though, or just a lot more practice on them. lol Can't seem to get enough spin for the Trip Shorty. Start off looking good, but the second the CB hits the rail for the first time, the spin dies and so does the CB. Any suggestions?
