Member Videos and Pictures

How do I upload videos?
1a. Make sure you are logged into the forums.
1b. Go to the http://www.21ace.com/video-pictures/thumbnails.php?album=2 page.
2. Choose the Upload file link near the top (has a the green triangle to the left of it).
3. Hit Browse button, locate video on hard drive and press the CONTINUE button.
4. After reading the "Successful Uploads" message hit CONTINUE again.
5. Choose the videos album, add a title and hit CONTINUE again.
6. After reading the "The previous file was placed successfully" message hit CONTINUE one last time.
7. Go back to the http://www.21ace.com/video-pictures/thumbnails.php?album=2 album and see the video. Smile

How do I download videos?
1. Go to the video page that you want to download. For example, try the http://www.21ace.com/video-pictures/displayimage.php?pos=-1 page.
2. Press the I button on the page to get information about the file.
3. Get the uid of the user by hovering over the username with the mouse. In the example above the uid for Eric is 2.
4. Add 10,000 to the uid above and remember it. In this example it is 10002.
5. Copy the name of the video file, in the case above it is 2-handed-2-stage-twirl-poker-chip-trick.avi
6. Put all this together in a url. It should be http://www.21ace.com/video-pictures/albums/userpics/[uid+10000]/filename or in our example http://www.21ace.com/video-pictures/albums/userpics/10002/2-handed-2-stage-twirl-poker-chip-trick.avi

How do I show pictures directly in the forums?
1. Get the url of the picture using the steps in the "How do I download videos" question.
2. Put the img tags around the url of the picture in your post.

How do I link to a picture or video?
1. Click on the thumbnail of the picture or video.
2. Click on the i button to display file information.
3. Copy the URL line making sure that you are on the line where the is a negative number. For example with the http://www.21ace.com/video-pictures/displayimage.php?pos=-1 link pos is -1.
4. DO NOT USE LINKS WHERE pos is a positive number because the positive number changes as more media is added.
