I don't think I have ever seen a Poker Table that I really liked unless it was green.

there's some fabric at the local fabric store i think i'll be covering my table with......it's kinda like gold water........looks really nice......when i do i'll take a pic and post it

I think it really depends upon what color your rails are. If you have standard black rails, green would make the table look really generic. If you want your table to look just like the casino ones, then yeah, green is better. I personally get kinda sick of the black/green combo, so I would say red felt if you're doing black rails. Any other color rail would probably look better with green felt. I did a table for one of my customers that had green felt and an off-white rail. I painted the legs to match the rail and the table looked awesome. That's just my $0.02
