Eric Yow Forums Home need help with a little shot Author Message tmacandcheese Straight Flush Joined: 15 Dec 2006 Posts: 287 need help with a little shot ok im having trouble with a follow shot, second shot in yows video 5 pro follow shots http://youtube.com/watch?v=DZ_ClI0ikxY i cant seem to either hit hard enough, or not sure what english to hit, or anything. it just never wants to make it, and if i put enough follow and right english to make it, i end up miscueing any help? First the setup: ob is at the 1-1 diamond, cueball and OB center line aimed towards the right point of the pocket. Basically the spin has to do the work, but since u hit such a big part of the ob (almost straight in) u have to hit it hard too. So, hit hard at 1:30. If u hit the short rail first (like yow did in his vid, but u dont make the ball) try using less right. If u hit the long rail try hitting lower or with more spin. Ps: when u aim u have to compensate for the deflection. Thats all i can say abt it.
