 new shot program practice and scores |

Hi everyone. I thought this was a good subject for a thread so we can discuss here the new shots and scores. I have some problems at the speed shot (prop shot 5) as i've never been good at those. Any tips and hints will be apreciated. I remember I was practicing for the 2007 WC and Yow gave us some advice on making a "base score". I did that with the new program and ended up with 163, which is not that bad, considering that the scores are lower this year. Anyway, since that I made a top score of 198.

wanna see lost of disscusion between tbuzz ppooler venom and vash yow and tim .....
many inside tips and idea will come out ... could be the best teaching thread ever posted here abt artistic pool ..

Generally, I don't know what to think of it, I knew the order of the old program and now I am learning shots almost from scratch.
On the other hand, an old player had huge advantage over the new one and now the chances are more equal...
Although I am not very familiar with the background of Artistic Pool & Trick Shot Association so I have very limited knowledge...
I tried each new shot until I get it right, I think the new program is overall easier.
I keep practicing only an hour a day and that's about it.

I think the general difficulty of the new program is lower than the program we had before! But i think that there are some very hard shots in it as well.
for example:
the whipdraw stroke shot, I can't get! i definitely need help with it,
also the speed shot vash talks about is impossible for me...
as for a global score... I need to get a new jump cue, my old one broke on me  Once that's taken care of ,i'll try to go for it!
