Has anyone tried Hoyle, Gemaco or Dal Negro plastic playing cards? Are they comparable to kem?

I've been meaning to get a couple packs of the Gemaco because the back design rocks.

I'm sure you've used Copags before, which are just as good as kems.

I've had kems, currently have 2 set ups of Copags, 2 of Dal Negro and 1 Modiano. My favorite cards are Dal Negro, then Modiano and Copag tied. kems are ok, but too flimsy for me (and my set the cards kept cracking). Dal Negros have a cardboard feel to them, but a nice flexibilty. Kind of like well used Bikes, but they stay flat. I've got the DN Freedoms pokersized Jumbo Index. I recommend them highly. I've also had Fourniers, which I think are great too, they fall just behind Dal Negro with me, but ahead of the modiano and copags.

I like my Modiano set too, it is Club sized, in between Jumbo Index and standard index

Helpful info. Thanks.

The Modianos look nice. I like the medium index.

I'll have to give the Dal Negros plastics a try too if you think they're best of all.

I've used several kinds of Gemaco paper cards, but never the plastic. The paper cards are nice imo. The Alpha paper is nice n stiff and the original paper are like bikes basically.

I bought a setup of Gemaco Compass, poker size, reg index, and they were cut perfectly, however, the images were very off center on the blue deck, and both decks were bowed. I'm exchanging them now.

Also got a deck of Modianos, poker size, jumbo index, 4 pip. I think these are really sweet cards.

Also got a setup of Dal Negro SuperStars, but I'm selling them on ebay, to get a different Dal Negro setup. I don't like the full bleed backing.

I also got a setup of Copag LoneStar, bridge, regular. They were cut piss poorly so Copag is sending me a new setup. Very Happy
