It's not like Pot Limit is a anything like fixed limit, because you can bet the amount of the pot at any time. In No Limit, you wouldn't really want to bet more than the pot at any time. In PL, you're never getting worse than 2:1 odds, plus there is of course a limit to what you can raise, so more ppl will tend to call at least one raise in PL pre-flop. Especially PL Omaha where beginners just really want to see flops with their pretty looking hands. It'll take me too long explain why, so if you wanna know, ill let you find out for yourself. Omaha is generally a high action high variance game. So many see the flop becuase there are so many different possible hands out there. Also its a bit harder that holdem, so amateurs will see it regardless of what they have. The game is also VERY profitable. But what does that say about players like Chau Giang and Robert Williamson, both with a huge pot omaha resume.
