Im looking for an old vhs for my dad, the video is old from the 80's. If anyone knows where i can by the series please let me know! if not if you guys know some good dvd's on cheating technique that would be great. i checked out the demo of "Weapons of the Card Shark" but it looks too noob for my dad who is a pro player. he needs the video to show some friends.

I personally have never heard of that vhs. However, if you want the best of the best then get Steve Forte's 4 part GPS series. It's a fantastic series for exposing cheating technique. Steve is one of the best in the world.

It's vhs only. It's 4 tapes. I've seen it on sites for upwards of $200. Dennymagic.com sells it for $169 including shipping. Great place to buy stuff. Or you could look around for it used for a bit cheaper. Anyways, it's the best of the best. Enjoy.

Sorry for bringing back an old topic but I didn't want to start a whole new one.
I here that Forte's stuff is for Casinos to catch cheaters but does not actually show you how to do it. Is it easy to learn from it? Also, does this have just cheating or other stuff like card counting and stuff like his book on the subject. How does it compare with his book on gambling protection(if you have it)? just want to know since I don't want to pay a lot if I can't learn the correct techniques. thx
I saw it on the site and the four parts together seem to cover just about everything there is on card cheating.

Simply put. the Forte tapes are the best you can buy. Yes, they are not instructional. Don't expect "place your index finger here" type of stuff. In the series he demonstrates many different cheating techniques. If you want to see how for example...a bottom deal should look if perfected, then buy this series. It is possible to learn many things from his tapes. Personally, I think it would be beneficial if you've already been introduced to many of the techniques demonstrated. The thing about his style is HOW he does the moves, not the moves themselves. He performs them as if "under fire." Also, another great thing about Steve Forte is that he doesn't have what I call a "magician's touch." He handles the cards like a normal person, yet he's the best I've ever seen. I do not have his book on casino protection, but I know that it is far different than these tapes. That book deals specifically with casinos. I believe there's an interview with Steve online that you can google and he talks about the material in his book. As you can tell I have nothing but great things to say about his GPS. If you're serious about this art, then definitely buy the series. Enjoy.
