The card in your hand is visible from this angle of the camera. You can see it in cca 0:02 when the hand goes to the left and it also rotates a little and revals the card hidden in the palm for a short while.

Awesome muck...
If you've got some longer clips that you'd be interested in sharing...check out this card contest . The contest should be up by today, if not, take a look tomorrow...
Good luck!

The routine with aces looks great i think. You seem to be ok with that.
The McMillian switch is also good but I think it needs some work. I think you have to make it more natural. The hand should look more relaxed like if nothing was happening. Try to turn the card normally a few times and see what your hand does. The McMillian switch should be as similiar as possible to the normal situation.

I thought the switch portion of the MacMillan switch was excellent, the ending position was slightly stiff, which you could improve by ditching the card more or less directly (I sometimes sleeve it, other times I lap it, other times I switch palms). You could do some work in general around the naturalness of your hands while holding a palmed card, but overall I thought it looked very good, you had the angular motion of the switch right, which is great to see, keep it up.
The shuffling video was a little dark to evaluate, the deck switch would be interesting in the context of play to evaluate cover etc. It might work better to mix the motions rather than doing the full motion with both hands, not sure, I'd have to try it.

After you've shot your trick...what next? |
|
Mucks and Switches... with all of the video's already up it would be great to see them participating live in an online card contest. We are looking for 35 videos, and have just reached the half-way mark. Take a look at the contest site and get in some of these amazing tricks- What can it hurt? Its a place where filmmaking meets slick card handlers...you all seem to have both.
Good luck!
