Tally Ho |

I never see any of these Tally Ho decks around, where are most of you? I only really see Bicycle, Bee, and Hoyle decks? Where are most of you? What do you prefer about Tally Ho decks to other decks?

Tally Ho cards feel thicker than Bikes, but they are a lot more expensive...
But yes they are great quality.

By Bikes do you mean Bicycle Rider Deck?

A lot of people prefer Tallys cos they are more durable than bikes but personally I don't really like the feel of them. I like Bees myself, they are a nice happy medium

Tally-Ho's |

If you do a fair amount of searching, you can find Tally's for an average of 3.50-4.50. Try this link: http://www.magicstor.com/files/card_decks.htm
I've never bought from them myself, so I can't vouche for the dealer, but you might give it a try.
I personally like Tally's, they seem to stand up better to wear. Bikes are of course the most recognized amoung a lay audience, but it's all about personal preference.

Yeah, I guess I'll just stick to Bicycle.

Since Tally Ho cards are not gimmicked in any way, if someone questions their authenticity then I would just hand over the deck and have them check it out. But Bikes are typically cheaper and more easily available.

Are Tally ho's a little more bend resistant. Hate when people at a Poker Table try to be like the pros and bend the cards up, and what im saying is not that i don't do it, its just that when i cover and look at my cards, i dont BENd it straight up in half, i slightly curve it. Hate when i have to buy decks of cards every week because people bend them in half while looking at them..
well... maybe they are trying to mark them?
Anyways, are they more durable, and bend resistant?

i'd suggest kem cards for poker games......they bend back when you look at 'em like the pros
