 Tournament I'm in... |

hey guys,
just wanted to say that I will be competing in a 9ball tournament on a weekly base all summer! It's hosted by the poolhall in my neighbourhood and some of the better players from Belgium find each other here. Today there weren't as many pro's as the coming weeks but I finished 7th out of 20! I think it's not bad considering how long I play ... unfortunately, I was one place away from the prize money  But if I keep finishing under 8th overall, I get a free pass to the big tournament at the end of the summer with some good prize money involved!

Today there were 25 players in total and I my opponent in the 3rd round got extremely lucky! I never even saw such luck he managed to make the 9 twice from the break, another time by miscueing (but the shot was legal) and in the last deciding frame, he also fluked the 9 ... resulting in me placing 17/25 
I DID manage to beat one of the better players there with 5-4 and I was quite happy with the way I was playing! I also gave a little trickshot performance before the tournament started and managed to pull off some difficult shots (not in the program) Starting next season, I'll also be playing in the poolleague!
Also, I'm the only player with only 1 cue to bring to the pooltable and the only one with a playing cue worth under € 100 But I beat some predator users, who shouldn't even be allowed to use the things ... I'm thinking of saving up for better equipment! But first I have to find new job
