Turf Club chips @ Spinettis |
|
So, after a whole bunch of research and trying a few different brands, I finally decided that the Turf Club chips from Spinettis were the ones for me. They are at the very top of my price range, but justifiable.
So I put in an order for 220 red $5s, 170 green $25s, 120 black $100s, and 50 orange $500s.
Much to my disappointment, the next day I was contacted by a rep who told me that they only have about 15 red ones, and something around 100 greens. They had the other denominations I needed, no problem.
The guy said that they won't get any more unless they ever get a few orders at around the same time that add up to about 500 red chips, and the same deal for the greens, but otherwise, there's no way for me to get them.
So....... Anyone looking to order some Turf Club chips from Spinetti's?? If there was just 1 or 2 others out there who wanted to put through a similar order, it would get fulfilled.... Otherwise it's back to the drawing board for my chip search.....
Or, does anyone know of any other suppliers of those chips? I can't find anyone. Any suggested alternate brands? I tried the Desert Sands - didn't like the slipperiness of them. Apparently they are using a new technology which is much more slippery than the old one so I apparently missed the boat on those, too.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me!

OK, so apparently you can get those chips from sites other than Spinettis. I did some searching after posting that and found some other sites.... The other sites are a bit more expensive, though, and don't have a "21ace" discount code, so now I just have to decide if it's worth the extra bucks or if I should take a step back & re-evaluate.

Hey man, I don't know what they are charging, but go check out www.chiptalk.net. Search around there for a while, you will find cheaper chips you like and be happy.
