What do you mean "normal"?
It is a normal deck in that its not gimmicked, however if you use it for tricks, your spectators will think that the deck is gimmicked and will question you. All you are presenting them is a very clever puzzle once you use a prop they are not familiar with. Going into a trick with a Tiger or Viper deck is like going up to a spectator and say "I have a perfectly ordinary brass box".

I would rather perform with a normal looking deck, and avoid questioning altogether, that way they can focus more on the effect itself instead of methods, or "that deck looks fishy". In other words, its more of a distraction.
If you have a Tiger deck, then Viper isn't any different in quality.

I've noticed if there is anything out of place the specatator will notice it and be on the offensive, and a Tiger or a Viper deck would certainly raise their guard.

As many people said before these decks will rise the suspicion if they are used for performing magic.
But I think these cards can be quite useful while performing flourishes.
I didn't try the Vipers but Tigers are quite good quality. I know that some people complained about the quality of both first editions but the second edtitions should be ok.

I live in england and do magic and i use bikes. No one has ever questioned them as fixed cards. They're in so many films and TV shows that a lot of people do recognise them.
Do you use Waddingtons No 1's or something else?

I agree with you Shadow...the cards are very useful and fun for XCM and flourishing. They make the presentation more visually appealing and the people really like to see this new kind of playing card.
The problem associated with the black tigers and related cards is that they are expensive. Once you buy one or two decks, it is really hard to use them or open them up because you don't want to wreck them. At least thats the way it is for me...so I don't use the one deck I have very much and I don't plan on using it much in the future.

Ahh vipers I love em
They are a tad expensive and you don't want to wreck them. I usually keep them as performance decks. I've got a load of regular Tally ho's that i practice with and then i whip out the vipers for performance. They do look very nice and peoples reactions are great.

In my opinion unique colored cards are purly XCM and Flourish. People assume the deck is rigged because it is not ordinary. Also the color makes it hard for the spectator to remember their suit. The spades and heart to the laymen look very similar so if you try to use Vipers or Tigers for Magic you must emphaise remembering the card. These cards are perfect, although they do have some discrepancies when used for a period of three weeks. The Silver pips (I don't have red) seem to scratch and rub off against each other and become faint. I have not used these cards for poker or card games. I use the cards about 3 hours a day. To me the silver looks more appropriate than the white on the Tiger deck. It is just a tad more flashy. Over all I've found the Tally Hos Regular and Black to be a little more durable for XCM.
These cards are more of a novelty item than an actual preformance item. You would want to have a really nice XCM or Flourish routine to get the most out of the cards and have the atmosphere to do it. Black Light, Night Club, Night Setting with a light that will show the reflective silver pips.
Personally I like Black, White, and Gray so I love these cards. Quality wise just save three bucks and buy some Red/Blue Bikes or Tally Hos.
Oh yeah, and the Ace design on Tally-Hos Rock!
