Agreed.
I don't really see myself becoming a professional magician or anything so I am just sticking with cards. Basically, I have been playing poker since I was about six (just for pennies with my grandparents, but it seemed hardcore back then) so I was always interested in cards.
One day in grade 8, I saw my friend who wanted to get into card magic attempt to ribbon spread the cards and flip them over. Now, I always thought this was absolutely amazing, so once I saw that he could almost do it I thought I would try. What I witnessed that day is what got me into card magic because that brought me to this site and this site is what's responsible for where I am today! (maybe not in every aspect of my life, but you get the point)
I don't know why I posted that, just a nice memory I have. Funny thing is my friend gave up on card magic soon after lol. Too bad he moved

yeahh..card magic pride...
i dont really wana become a pro..and do gigs all the time...i just enjoy getting crazy reactions in a spontaneous situation. but yeah i wondered that i wouldnt be a really good magician if i only stuck to card magic..but card pride!!

Cards are definetly the best magic....I like to mix it up sometimes. I do some coins and levitations. But in the end it's CARDZ ALL DA WAY

cards are my way. but i find that i use a lot of things, rings, elastics, paper etc more and more. I like to use tricks that incorperate diff things. Ive been finding i feel like im usung stronger magic if I use objects that art like regular things. Plus! cards are frowned apon by many teachers in my skool, but dont mind me doing flourishes with oter things so, w.e (my principal really likes magic though which is rad!) pumped to show him some stuff after summer.
THough cards are still my main thing cuz they seem to be easyier then other stuff, and i really love usin them

Hardcore card magic all the way, and why?
If youve done any very impressive tricks for lay people.......the reactions you get, thats why i do ot, for people to experience the mysterious

I specialize in sleight of hand (cards, coins, dice, etc.).
I also give gambling expose lectures and occasionally do parlor and stage magic.
But, my true love is cards and gambling sleights and gimmicks....of course, I can't forget my wife and kids

No. Not at all.
Everyone has their own preferences and style. Besides, there are so many card tricks out there and sleights and things you've never heard about.

Hah...sticking to cards is good...
I started doing stage magic and kid shows when I was about 11 years old. Then I started to specialize in sleight of hand during my mid-teens.
I was lucky enough to grow up and learn with Darwin Ortiz, Derrick Dingle, Harry Lorraine, Ken Krenzel, etc. etc. .etc. I learned coin magic from David Roth, etc....since we were all about the same age....But, Derrick and crew was older...
During my late teens and early 20s, I concentrated on gambling moves and sleight of hand and did not do as much stage magic/
So....I guess I was lucky enough to lived and learn from the best !
So now...after 40 years of experience....I try to help others....
