I can sort of pull it off, haven’t practiced it too much though, I can get it out to the fingers about 1 out of 5 or so the break down though I haven’t figured out yet.

killing me as well. |

I've been practicing it on/off since last week tuesday when I saw it. Obviously just the drop down like the chip twirl to drop the 2 inner chips between your pinky & index finger. From there it looks easy but is a pain in the butt. Bring the middle finger up between the seperated stacks, then rotate the 2 chips between the ring and pinky fingers toward the middle finger and then the thumb and pointer stack the same. Then push the middle finger outward seperating all 4 chips accordingly. Easier said then done.
I always have a problem with the chip that rotates out between my ring finger and pinky. It pops out, like my hands are to small. But if Evelyn Ng can do it(I'm sure her hands are small)then I should be able to. I'm working on it and if I can get it down, I'll make a quick video of it. I'm playing in a tourney on Sunday so I'm going to try and spend tonight and tommorow working on it. Like to show it off if I can..

I think the most important part that got me to do it right is slightly angling the chips from teh very start so when you do teh move that brings chips to your pinky and 3rd finger it's already angled down, because if it's just straight across it slips off your fingernail. i'll make pics in a sec.

She's almost 6 feet tall, and she's asian. Of course she's got longer and nimbler fingers than you all!

I never meant it to be offensive. Most tall asian women are hot. I was just being funny.

This flourish will be harder depending on what you are using for it.
The bigger the coin the harder it will be.
If you are using say....half dollars....it will be much easier than using poker chips....so if you have small hands you may want to start with smaller coins.
When I learned this it took me about 3 hours just to do it one time....and it was very shitty. Poker chips are big and it stretches your fingers out pretty far so you will have to get use to that....your fingers may get pretty sore at first....I learned it with poker chips.
I learned it from David Roth's Ultimate Coin Magic....he calls it the 'coin star'.
After a while with a shitload of practice it gets very easy and you can do it without even thinking.
Whatever you do make sure you learn it in BOTH hands so you can do it in both at once which is much more impressive.
This can also be done with 5 and 6 coins....maybe I will get a video in.
later,
CM

Yes. Although the one on the top with the three coins parallel to the fingers I didnt do in that picture because its really fiddly and 90% of the time I cant get it looking that nice. The one on the bottom with the two coins balanced I can do but its very slow and doesnt look very nice except for the finish position.

Finally I have the butterfly down after about 3 weeks of attempts. Awesome variation, I'll have to work on that now. I've send it before and I'll say it again. This site is awesome. Thanks for all the help fellas.
