Post Which Poker Cheating DVD should I get? Reply with quote
I need to know what Poker DVD I should get for card cheating. I've heard of George Joseph and Brian Tudor but I don't know which is better for basic card cheating techniques. Also, I've heard of Erdnases' Expert at the Card Table I think? Please Help!

Don't expect to learn card cheating fast. It takes a long time before you can use it normally (few years of training usually).

For the DVDs you have mentioned - I haven't seen them so I can't tell. Expert at a Card Table is a very interesting book on the subject. It's disadvantage is that it is over 100 years old (first published in 1902 I think). This means that some of the methods are not "the best available". Even though the book is very interesting.

Maybe you should also consider a DVD by Jeff Wessmiller called Weapons of the Card Shark. Most people consider it relevant to the subject and a good resource.

I think you should search the Card tricks forum because this topic was already discussed there many times so you can find some more opinions.

Do you guys mean cheating as in, "cheating?" Like taking cards or giving cards that you aren't supposed to have and stuff?

Well, I for one would advise against dvds, becuase if you think about it, the moves theyre teaching are not suposed to be seen, and should only be able to be described. Brian Tutors "card sharp" dvd is a joke. It has some moves in it that people do use out in the real world, and will teach you some stuff, but is over all not somthing to learn from. the techniques taught and shown are mediocre at best and am yet to watch George Josephs work.
I personally would recommend Drey's ebooks as an excellent resource.
They teach shuffling, Dealing and stacking, which are all tools of a cheat.
Your not gunna get there quickly, and if you are planning on heading out and cheating your friends, think twice. You gotta practice your moves untill it is easyer for you to bottom deal then straight. You should invest in a video camera and film youself not cheating, then when you finally get around to a point where your cheating looks exactly the same as your straight play, practice for another year. You have to have this sort of thing down the the T. Believe me, it's worth it. I, personally, would much rather spend my time learning to cheat with good hands instead of learning to cheat with hands that have been fucked becuase of my stupid, juvinile pussy dreams of living the sexy cheat life.

Think about it.

Im sorry you felt that I was attacking you personally, and my post wasnt suposed to to be offensive. Also by the way you wrote your original post, I just assumed you were planning on cheating people, I respect your morals and decision to take the high road. I guess Ive previously been an ass to you Confused And I have in the past been an ass, but I meant no disrespect in my post.
Im not sure what you found offensive about it,

"Believe me, it's worth it. I, personally, would much rather spend my time learning to cheat with good hands instead of learning to cheat with hands that have been fucked becuase of my stupid, juvinile pussy dreams of living the sexy cheat life. "

All I was saying there was that the most important part of cheating is the practice you put in.
Hope you can see the light there.
