I know that this is not the rightest forum to ask but is anyone using these? What are your opinions?
I'm now using these because my laptop came with Vistas preinstalled. They look really nice but they seem really slow to me. After 30 minutes of "Logging out" I just had to switch it manually . Good thing is, that they have finalyl changed the menu for printing to file. It is just a line in XP so you have to type down the whole path manually. But they are still using the same menu for installing fonts... from Windows 3.11 .

Whenever Microsoft comes out with a new operating system, I usually like to wait awhile until all the bugs are worked out. And believe me, just about every new operating system that Microsoft has come out with has had some sort of bug.
Another thing that's kinda annoying is with every new version, it comes with more and more crap to slow down your computer. I wish they would come out with something where when you install the OS, you can just select what features you want installed. Not EVERYONE wants windows media player installed, or windows messenger, etc.
Also, from what I've heard, Microsoft is making it more and more difficult for people to install 3rd-party software. In other words, if it's not released by Microsoft, you may have a hard time installing programs. But, this is just what I've "heard".

Yea, I wouldn't buy it either if I had the choice and I agree that it is always better to wait especially with Micrsoft.
I have also heard about the difficulties while installing 3rd party software. I didn't have any problems yet so we will see...

i thought there was a "clean" version of windows, "Windows 2003", it was released after they had been charged for having too much products with the OS when you buy it, or something like that...
