 World Champion Chip Tricker (10th Chip Tricks Contest) |

Chip Tricks Contest rules/conditions(subject to change):
DEADLINE 10th January, 2008 Midnight Pacific Standard Time
Judges: TheEMan, Shadow
Rules
There are some new rules so read them carefully!
1) One person - one video
2) The actual performance in the video can't be longer than 90 sec. The credits can exceed the time limit.
3) No glued chips
4) By submitting videos you are giving 21Ace.com permission to include them on the site (with credits of course). By submitting documentation in the email, you are giving 21Ace.com permission to include it on the site.
5) You have to upload the videos here: http://www.21ace.com/video-pictures/thumbnails.php?album=2. The videos can be uploaded on the last day of the contest (if you can't upload them on the last day you can send them to the judges earlier (for instance by sending them to vids{at}21ace.com – send a pm to Shadow when you use this email for sending your videos). The size limit is 20mb. No other methods of sending the videos (e.g. linking somewhere else like youtube) will be accepted.
Prizes:

2 "Chip Trick Starter Sets", each consisting of 8 World Top Hat & Cane chips, one can choose from the denominations 500, 1000 and 5000. (from RoyalJBZ)

Good idea. We might throw some in  I will have to ask Eric if there are some keychains left but we can definitely have a t-shirt prize.

I still have to work on getting down 2 or 3 more tricks and then maybe smoothing out a couple of the ones I already have recorded. Im glad we have a vacation from school now.

i dont think those once per life time tricks such as the "evil bouce" ( except the for TheEman who can probably perform it without many tries) should be
included in the contest. cuz chip tricks are suppose to be ones u can easily perform at a poker game, those once per life time tricks
defeats the purpose of chip tricking. but thats only my opinion

the question is how shadow judges those luck tricks. As I've been saying for a long time - I'm not a friend of them. Tricks that involve a small amount of luck are okay, I mean those where you may need two or three attempts, but I doubt that one can do the evil bounce or moon landing that often - even if it is TheEMan. Maybe some of you are observing the current world XCM tourney at HL/SH: there the participants have to send in uncut vids. maybe we can establish that too in future contest. what do you guys think?

i dont think uncut videos are good for chip tricks, cuz each trick is too short. an uncut chip trick video would be extremely boring!!

i think the idea with uncut vids is a really great one ...that shows how good u perform chiptricks live at a pokertable when u play however not in this contest ..maybe in the next one
