The trick is cool, I’m trying to figure it out myself, but the thread discuses several "nuts" tricks, check it out all threads related to the subject next time before you post a new thread...

The "butterfly trick" looks like the four coin roll out.

Butterfly |

I TIVO'd the WSOP "Nuts" segment and am breaking it down. I have the assembly part of it down but putting the butterfly back to the start place is another story. I'm busy at work today but I'll try to give an instructed rundown of the movements this weekend. The assembly part is not that hard though. It is a cool trick though.

Butterfly trick |

The trick beings smillar to the Antonio E. chip roll out.
1) 4 chips begin with the index finger and the thumb.
2) simmlar to chip twirl slide the middle 2 chips, inbetween your pinky and ring finger
3) middle finger comes forward towards the palm not touchin either set of chips inbetween the ring finger&pinky; tumb&index
4) middle finger moves bakward and catches the top 2 chips from the 2 sets of chips thus sliding them between the index and the midle and ring fingers
In my opinon step 4 is the most difficult and takes the most pratice. hopefully this gave some insite on mrs. eng's trick

I've been practicing this butterfly trick in pieces. It is noteworthy that for the 2 chips between the thumb and index finger, Evelyn Ng moves the top chip towards the middle of the hand.
This is different from the 2 chips between the little and ring fingers. In this case Evelyn Ng moves the bottom chip towards the middle of the hand.
For me it is easier moving the chips between the thumb and index finger.

I can get the butterfly almost every time now, but when all four chips are "butterflied" at the end, they're always crooked in my hand... so im just workin on makin it look better at the end, but as for now i can atleast do it.

Yeah, that's what it is ....although when I learned it I was told it was called the 'coin star'.
I have a 5 and 6 coin version as well.
This was a painful flourish to learn....strecthing all the fingers like it does !!!
