ogot good question
We call those combos...linking small tricks together. They are usually planned first for flowing look.
For most people once they learned most tricks they develop their own style (ways to link tricks together, speed, smoothness, tricks choice, etc.)
That's why everyone spin different. Just like fingerprints . Once they do it tooooo much they could come up with it good while spinning naturally, or "freestyle" But some people freestyle too much haha...It can become repetitive.
I don't recommend you to just freestyle while you're just beginning. Those can look choppy. Try to plan organized combos.
Good luck. If you have no idea what I'm talking about then lol sorry I could retype in simpler word.[/list]

Lol, doesn't that apply to everything in this forum anyway?
But I think it's a lot easier to practice Penspinning, since if you're a student, teacher's won't resort to confiscating ballpens if you drop them too much. And they make less of a noise if dropped than compared to poker chips, and you won't be looked at like a weirdo if you practice them in public unlike card tricks..
