I have a collection of about 40 sample chips and about 35 casino chips. I don't have a working camera now, but maybe my friend will let me borrow his. Still, i've never done a picture on this forum, so I don't know if I can. I'll try.

hell yeah Dan, you should definately show us your collection =)
looking forward to see some pic´s. |
I'll try to get around to it. I don't own 40 different samples, some are duplicates. I have about 20ish different casino chips. I'm starting a $1 only casino chip collection, I hope to eventually have 100+ chips. I'm heading to Vegas in July, so I'm gonna buy a lot when I go.
Pics soon. (Hopefully!!!!)

I have issues.
The big picture frame contains $1 chips from EVERY Vegas casino. I also have one from every AC casino in there somewhere unframed.
The small frames to the left of the big one are sets of chips from the Show Tilt on ESPN.
This picture doesn't have my 993 Paulson Cherrys in it either.

Now that is a very sweet set up, must of taken u a while to put it all up. I have a question, are those all dice chips in the upper right? If they are, I've never seen some of those colors, like orange and pink.

That is EXACTLY what I'm trying to do!! I hope my next trip to Vegas will get me about 15-20 more chips from casinos. I already own abut 25 different chips from the big ones, so I'm gonna hit some of the smaller casinos, especially downtown. Really nice collection!!
(I'll post pics of my collection in about a week!)

Yes those are dice chips. They are hotstamped with my initials. They were my first set, and I have at least 25 of every color they made.
The Vegas casino set was a gift from my mother-in-law. Her and her twin sister go to Vegas every year on their birthdays. This past year, they went to every casino to get me those chips. They said they had a blast doing it also. I can't imagine how much time that had to take them. Pretty cool in-laws huh.

How many full sets of chips do you have?? I consider a full set to be at least 200 chips.

How are the Desert Palms?? They look like really sweet chips. I also like the 2005 WSOP replicas. You have a boat-load of chips. Impressive.
I've got:
550 Modern clay chips from sidepot.com
500 "Diamond" 11.5 gram composites
200 Bicycle chips (weigh like 4 grams)
Not as nice as yours, but it's still something!
Thinking about buying 500 "faux clay" chips.

How is those Modern clays Dan?
are they any good? ive heard good things about them.
those Bicycle chips is horrible lol
sold my 500 set diamond to a friend for 37 bucks lol |
Yea the Bicycles were my first set, then I (foolishly) bought the diamonds without looking around too much. Then I saw the Modern Clays and fell in love with them. I think they are the best Blue Chip chip and maybe better than Paulson when you factor in the price. Not better quality (although pretty close) they are a great deal when you factor in their quality. Really nice chips. See my comments on the chip on the chip review page.

Out of all of them, I like my customs. Pretty obvios why, since I designed them. Plus I have denoms from .25 all the way up to 25k, so I can use them for cash, or tournament play.
I love the Desert Palm chips. The inlay and mold are awesome on those chips. They look even better after I oiled them, although I hated every second of that, lol. What a pain.
The WSOP's are great for super deep stack games. The other night there was 4 of us messing around, and we had a few games where we started with 860,000 in chips. Heads up was a ton of fun. Plus those chips look fantastic.
I haven't played with the Cherry's yet. I've just cleaned the first 660 that I got. They look great now that I washed them all. I'm getting the last 312 that Matt had this week. After I get them cleaned up, I'll come up with some sort of structure for the colors I have, then I'll have a game with them.

Boston Poker Chips did that set, but they don't have them on their site....2-Hotty did they just do that as a CT group buy?

It was a group buy through bostonpokerchips.com. There was a second buy for these chips, but the total quantity on the market is under 100k. That was the original target, but it never got that high. Making these chips, in my eyes, even more desirable. The second GB participants are still waiting for their chips.
I actually ended up with a bunch of extra chips, that I was trying to decide what to do with (not pictured) that I ended up selling in small quantities. I started the sale a week ago, and don't even have enough left to make a playable set, lol. I think I originally had 900 or so for sale.
The thing about the WSOP's is how great they look. I have TH&C's, BC's, NJ's and all the guys in my poker club LOVE these chips the most. I kept a 1000pc set for myself.
Here are some pics for you to drool over

Hehe, very nice Eman. Can we see you guitar collection too? I didn't know you played the guitar but we seem to be into the same music. I toured through europe as the lead guitarist in a rock band in my early 20's. Stopped playing years ago though. Only got one guitar left myself. It's a handbuilt steve vai signature guitar, the 7-string Ibanez Universe (white/cream version with pearl pyramid inlays). Very nice and rare metal axe

Here's my collection.
500 Piece Yin Yang Desing with Denominations
300 piece Nexgen Series 2
300 Piece Tri Color AceKing 14gram.
500 Piece Dice Set
50 Piece Black and Blue Cards and Suits
I really love the WSOP Chipco Chips. I'm aiming towards the 300 Piece set as my next buy. I saw them at epokerchips and cardroom supply for about 95 cents a chip. I also love those anchor and cherry Paulson chips that you have EMan. the anchors remind me of the chips matt damon was playing with at the stud game in rounders. As far as my future collections, i think i'm going to be purchasing a lot of Chipco Chips. I played with them at a native casino before i turned 21 and i just love them to death. The designs are great and i love how you can customize them just about any way you like. There's also the Samaurai Clay set that i saw on HoldemPokerChips. Those really are a work of art.
