 Yow! jumped a baby...video soon |

You guys are going to love this. I'll get the video up soon, I promise. Tonight I was practicing and a lady comes in with a baby, a little 2 month old boy named Braden. He was adorable. So I jumped a pool ball over him. I can't believe the kids mom let me do it! I'm sure this is the first time ever. Twenty years from now this kid is going to be showing his friends on youtube, "there's where some dude jumped over me at 2mo!"

I had that thou!gh immediately. Not that I think it's wrong or anything, but a lot of people would be shocked, especially in the USA where something like that could cause a lot of drama...

Definitely. Not that being "Masters Jump Champion" means I'm good at jumping or anything, though.  To prove to myself that I could do it, I jumped over something bigger, five times in a row. The mother was confident and thought it'd look cool. Babies are durable, regardless. hehe

Yeah, such shot is for someone who call himself artistic pool player very easy. But many people are not that good. and many people often imitate everything what they see (I am good example , when I saw Yow do the behind the back no-looking jump shot I immediately come up with 'no looking one-handed jump' later I had seen many people do so as well) now, if I would have a baby handy , maybe I would try that...
So I rather offer something less dangerous - double jump shot over cell phone.

I used my dear Nokia N70- which is fairly expensive cell phone...
But try it out ! you may find this shot pretty easy.
I recommend first learn this shot with some similar thick object ...
This shot will test how much thick your cell phone is...

i love the phone jump!i just thought to made this with my camera recorder but i have fear^^but i think it can be a beatfiul camera angle!
and about the baby jump, really i think it was the good decision...

nice touch playing a ringtone when doing it... you could use that in an exhibition fairly well ...
i did it today as well, without the ringtone ...
but i wouldn't recommend it to anyone who can not jump good. a friend of mine tried it yesterday and hit his cell phone, but it's not broken or scratched, he just missed the shot completely

Me too ...I did that shot five times in a row over a little box and then when I put the cell phone instead, I hit it because of the nervousness ...
But it's easy shot - especially over Motorola Razor

i just made a jump with the CB in the pocket, over my.... photo camera!!i also take this jump with my real camera, so i have 2angles of the jump, it was fun to see the jump with the cam on the table^^

I've also done this with my cell phone, like ppooler demonstrated. Play the ringtone and shoot over it. It's an easy shot, buti was a little nervous since the cell phone cost me like 250 EUR
