Here is a video I put together with a bunch of different moves. Some of it is a little sloppy, but its looks OK to me. Tell me what you guys think. And turn up the speakers to hear the music. Smile

Ryan's Ambitious Card Routine

Enjoy.

I got mine from Kid's Foot Locker. I know they sell them at Foot Locker, Kid's Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Champs, and Dick's Sporting Goods, but they are usually sold out...

By the way, no duplicates are used in the video...

This is a great vid.

One suggestion--is there any way for you to either turn the contrast down or darken the colors on your camera, it's hard to see clearly because anything moving is a white blur.

Nice work otherwise.

The card tricks were good, great variety, and I think that the song was a great great choice. What is the song by the way?

I didn't use any passes besides the Herrman pass. And I know the Bertram/Tenkai Changes were bad, I said in the original post that it was sloppy.

That was a nice vid. just a question for you Ryan... if you were to tribute your skills to a source, what would that source be? (book or dvd)?

Oh...I thought which one was more helpful.

Uh, the Herrmann pass I learned from a video teaching it on maybe e-magictrick? Thats a password protected site. That one card production I learned at sleightgeek in the magic club from Harwin. I learned the Bertram (Tebe) Change from Stealing Pips, the DL from RRTCM, the retention drop down move from e-magictrick. There are more, but you get the idea...the moves are from all different sources. Smile

As ryan said in the above post, there is no single source to learn the whole routine. If you are new to card magic I'd recommend picking up The Royal Road to Card Magic to learn the basic maneuvers.

Maybe the vid convinced people to respond. I'd read hundreds of posts the night I first found this place without posting (or registering), but when you see someone's taken the time to share their stuff, it's only right you give some of your time back to say well done!

It's also in Jerry's Encyclopedia of Card Flourishes.

If you are more interested in magic get card college....if your desire is to learn flourishes more then get Jerry's book.
